Grandpas Stories (All Ships)

I wish David and Lui were my grandfathers... By the way this one is kinda weird because it not in the kids POV but it kinda of is? Think of at like you're looking through the kids eyes.

"Hey kids, wanna hear a story?" Grandpa David asked.

"Yeah!" My little sister an I yell.

"Okay well come sit down then."

Grandpa David sits in his chair and my sister and I sit on the floor I front of him. Grandpa David clears his old rusty throat and starts to tell us a story.

"Once upon a time, there was a handsome young man named David. He liked to play games with his friends. He also liked to read magical stories called fanfiction about his two friends: Evan and Jonathan. David's friends and himself always thought that they would get together and had a bet on who would be top or bottom."

My little sister and I frown and Grandpa David, "What's top or bottom?" My little sister asks. At that moment, Lui enters with his and Davids cup of tea.

"How are you doing kids?" Lui asks his Grandchildren.

"Good! Grandpa David was telling us a story Grandpa Lui!" I shout in joy, grinning up at my Grandpa Lui.

Grandpa Lui giggles and asks, "Is it about a handsome young man named David?" Lui asks my sister and I.

My sister frowns and asks, "How did you know?"

Lui giggles again and walks away while muttering, "It always does."

Grandpa David grinned excitedly while he said the next part, "It worked. Both the boys were closer than ever and posting more video with just the two of them. The other 10 sat back and watched the show. Not only a week later, they confessed to everyone that they were together. As soon as it was said, David shouted, 'Yes! I knew it!  Oh and I'm happy for you guys.'"

"Well that was a good story Grandpa David!" My sister said. "Yeah! It was really good!" I agreed.

"No no no children, I'm not finished yet."

My sister and I sat up straighter and waited for the next part of the story. "David wasn't expecting it, so it hit him pretty hard when Evan and Jonathan and all the other boys except for Lui, tried to get Lui and himself together. But David already knew that he liked Lui, so he didn't need to push he was giving them, he ran to Lui, literally. Lui fell on his arse but got back up. Go about 10 years into the future, and David and Lui live together and adopted a little girl of their own who had two beautiful young children, a boy and a girl. Evan and Jonathan are still happy together and adopted two of their own child as well. About 2 years after Evan and Jonathan got together, Tyler and Craig admitted that they had been in love with each other for years. Brian and Brock got closer at the same time Evan and Jonathan did and confessed that they had already been together for 3 years after Evan and Jonathan said they were together. The whole group were still all friends 10 years later." As soon as Grandpa David finished his story the door bell rang.

"I'll get it!" Lui sang skipping over to the front door. "Evan! Jonathan! Good to see you!" Lui said as he hugged the Asian and the taller guy next to him.
Next stepped in a average height girl with black hair that looked red in the sun. "Oh little Gabrielle you've grown up so much! Look at you! How old are you now?"

"Only 23 Lui, how are you?"

"I'm good, go sit inside, dinner will be ready soon. I'm sure everybody will be excited to hear that." Lui muttered the last part not so quietly.

I couldn't see who was standing at the door, but Lui smiled brightly as he said, "Tyler why are you carrying Craig?"
"Fell asleep in the car. Little bastard, he's not as light as he seems." Tyler said as he walked through the door carrying a small blonde boy with glasses, Craig. Craig seemed to instantly wake up and he slapped Tyler on the chest and exclaimed, "I am not heavy you bastard!" as he tried to jump out of Tyler's arms but failed completely and fell on his bottom.
Tyler instantly kneeled down to make sure Craig was alright before picking him up and carrying him over to a chair. Everyone in the room laughed at the sight.

"Shut up bitches he could have broken something." Tyler huffed.

I look back over to Lui and see a man with perfect tall hair with his arm around another mans waist.

"Brian! Brock! I've missed you guys! You've been overseas too long! Come inside!"

The men named Brian and Brock step inside.

Lui looks back to the door and says, "Ah, the good old 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th wheel, Marcel, Luke, Ohm and Scotty. Come inside. Where are the girl?"

All four boys grumble, "Shopping," at the same time.

Lui frowns and asks, "Will they be here soon or are they not coming?"

"They'll be here soon," Luke assures Lui.

Lui walks into the kitchen to finish dinner while everyone stands around talking, except Tyler who is still worriedly hovering above Craig while he talks to Jonathan.

Gabrielle is talking to Grandpa David but when she sees me looking at her she comes over to me and my sister and says, "Hey guys, how ya doing?"

"Good," both my sister and I say at the same time.

"Do you wanna hear a joke?" Gabrielle asks. I nod excitedly but my sister just looks at her, waiting for the joke.

"What do you call-" she starts but gets cut off by one of her dads, Evan.

"A magic owl?!"

Everyone in the room shout, "HOODINI!" I didn't get the joke, but everyone laughs.

"You'll understand one day," Gabrielle assures me.

The night is spent eating dinner and all the adults talking about the 'good old days'.

When everyone has left, Grandpa David says, "Remember my story?" I nod, "All those people that were in that story were the same people that were sitting at this table. And the girl that David and Lui adopted was your mum."

I don't remember my mum, but with the amount of story's Grandpa David has told me about her, I feel like I've always known her. Grandpa David and Lui both miss her, I can tell. David always tells me that he tells stories so he won't forget anything.

THE END

The end was a little sad but oh well.
