I drive Finn to work, but we stop at the drug store been as I ran out of paracetamol this morning. My lower back is killing me and I have a terrible headache.
"Liv are you okay?" He asks as I step out of the car.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I just, don't feel too great" I reply.
I walk into the store and pick up some paracetamol. I pay at the check out and walk back to my car. Finn again asks me if I'm okay, and I give him the same answer as before.
We drive to the precinct and he sits down at his desk as I walk into my office.
I can hear Amanda and Finn talking about me, she asks if I'm okay.
I wish that people would stop with the whole "are you okay?" Stuff because I am really sick if it.
I get that they are my friends and are only looking out for me and stuff, but every 5 minutes? Really?!
"Liv, can I talk to you?" Amanda asks as she walks into my office.
"Yeah, what's up?" I ask
"I was wondering if y'all wanna come out for drinks tonight" she asks
"Erm, I don't know. I've gotta pick Noah up from his friends house at 4 and-"
"Come on Liv. Have a little fun" she insists, cutting me off.
"Look I really can't. I promised Noah that I would take to Pizza Hut for his dinner tonight. And I really don't feel up to it today" I reply
"Okay, well how about this weekend, me and you have a girly day? Because I don't know about you, but this case has really got to me, especially now I have Jessie, and I just kinda need to relax" she says
"Okay, but I've gotta get Noah to his soccer club first" I say
"Great" she smiles as she leaves my office.
I take my water and tablets out of my bag. I know that I should only take two, but with the combination of my lower back, my stomach and my head pounding, I can't resist. I take at least half of the packet, just before Finn walks in my office.
"Liv? What are you doing?" He asks
"Taking tablets why?" I answer
"How many did you take?!" He half asks half yells as he picks up the half empty packet. "Are you okay? And don't give me the whole, I'm fine shit, because you clearly aren't fine!"
"Tell you the truth Finn, I'm in so much pain right now it's killing me" I say honestly
"Liv, Do you need a doctor?" He asks
"I'll be fine"
"Olivia! Not with all the medication you just took! You need to go to a hospital" he says
"Finn seriously, I'll be fine. But I won't be if this woman gets away with killing her own daughter" I say standing up and walking out of my office.
