When we pulled up to a big, expensive looking house, I was a little confused, "Where are we?" I asked Kendall.
He shut off the engine and looked at me, "My house," he smirked.
"Your house?" I asked astonished looking back at the enormous tannish house in front of me.
He nodded unbuckling.
"Um, why?" I asked again unbuckling my seat belt.
"I want to go change, and I want to show you something, come on." Kendall told me getting out of the car.
"Okay..." I mumbled under my breath, following him out of the car. He waited for me in front if the car.
He held his hand out for and I took it nonchalantly, he walked up the long side walk, swinging our hands as we walked. "Are you the only one who lives here?" I asked curiously.
"Yeah, who else would?" He laughed.
"I don't know, I didn't know if you lived with your parents or something." I laughed looking down at my feet.
"No, I bought this house 2 years ago." He told me looking up at the house towering above us laughing.
We reached the front door and Kendall pulled his keys out of his pocket, he unlocked the dead bolt and the door knob. The door was large and looked like solid oak, with a nice lacquer over it.
He let go of my hand and opened the door for me. I gingerly stepped inside, the wooden floor creaked slightly. I took a few steps in, taking in the 18-foot ceiling, the wide spiral stairs to my center left, and a huge living room area with an enormous flat screen.
This type of stuff I expected, Kendall having all the money and things for it. I saw a dinning room off the large kitchen. Just about every where had wooden floors except the living room.
"Wow..." I finally said still takin it all in.
"What?" Kendall asked locking the door behind him.
"Its....huge, and really, really, really nice!" I explained, taking a few more steps towards the kitchen area. The whole house flowed nicely, most if the rooms were very wide open and not very many walls separating them.
"Well, thanks...I worked hard for it." I glanced back at him and he had a smile on his face, a proud smile.
"Yeah..." I trailed off, tracing my finger tips on the unique designs craved in the wood railing that led upstairs. It also was, what I thought, a beautiful dark oak color with a smooth lauqre.
I was blown away by the beauty of Kendall's home. I felt warm arms wrap around my waist, I put my hands on his.
"Want a tour?" He asked right beside my ear, his warm breath tickling me.
I shivered in his strong arms and turned around to peck his lips. "Sure,"
"Alright," He led me to the kitchen, which was wide open and had a huge stove and a nice size stainless steal refrigerator.
There was an island in the middle of the kitchen with bar stools and a fruit center piece. All the counter tops were a really pretty granite, and shinny.
"Wow this is huge...for a kitchen." I said, walking over to a light switch and flipping it on. It revealed the sink area, and a window looking out into the side yard.
"Yeah, I probably don't really need it all anyway." He said touching the countertop.
"You don't cook?" I asked raising an eyebrow looking back at him.
