“Tori!”

I stopped chewing on the sandwich I had made when I heard my cousin yelling out my name as she walked through the front door. I heard the door slamming shut. From the sound of her voice I knew she was mad. I knew she was going to come in here and yell at me for something. Most likely it’s going to be something to do with Jason.

I put down my half eaten sandwich and decided to make a run for it. I really didn’t want to be yelled at by Lisa. I was sick of being yelled at. Okay, so I made a stupid irresponsible mistake but she didn’t need to keep yelling at me. I walked over to the sliding door leading out to the back yard.

“Hey, where do you think you’re going?” Lisa asked me as I heard her walking into the kitchen.

I turned around to face her, trying to act innocent but I knew Lisa will see right through me, no matter how innocent I act. I could see the anger in her face as soon as I turned to her. Her arms were across her chest. Damn, I’m done for it.

“I’m just going outside,” I lied. To tell you the truth I wasn’t really sure where I was going. All I knew was I wanted to hide from Lisa.

“Nice try, Tori, but I don’t think so.”

I looked away in shame. I was going to be in so much trouble. I walked back over to the table to finish eating my sandwich. “Go ahead and yell at me, Lisa.”

“You were with him last night, weren’t you?”

I knew she was talking about Jason. I decided to play dumb and not know what she was talking about. It was so going to make her madder than what she already was.

“You know I was with Trevor last night,” I said. “You basically allowed me to go with him so we could find Jason.” I bit into my sandwich.

Lisa snatched my sandwich out of my hand. “Don’t you dare play dumb with me, Tori. You know very well what the hell I’m talking about. Trevor told me what happened after you guys found Jason. So, how come you didn’t come home when you found him? You were supposed to come home once you found him.”

“So what if I didn’t return home.”

“So what? Tori, Jason almost killed you yesterday!”

“Look, you told me to sort things out with Jason. I did that. He didn’t get angry with me or anything. You can get mad at me all you want, but I did what I had to do.”

“In what way did you sort things out?”

“We talked and then… we kind of had sex.”

Lisa raised her eyebrow at me. “Kind of?”

“Okay, we had sex.”

“Oh my gosh, Tori. After everything Jason has done to you in the past few days you’re still in love with him? Or are you a sex addict and you feel the need to screw Jason when you get the chance?”

I don’t know why, but I started to cry a little. I didn’t understand why Lisa was so mad at me. “Well, maybe I am a sex addict but I can’t help it if Jason is so damn good in bed.”

“You make me sick, Tori. You and Jason both make me sick.”

“Why do you even care what I do with Jason?”

“I care because I don’t want to see you get hurt by him. He is an asshole.”

I frowned at my cousin. There was no reason for her to insult my boyfriend. “Yeah, well you’re a bitch! Stop telling me what to do all the time. You told me to sort things out with Jason and I did. Why are you giving me such a hard time?”
