Emotions? (OHSHC ~ OC~ Fanfiction)

Chapter 17

"What are you doing here?" I ask Haruhi and start walking to where the boys are, dragging her along too.

"Oh well, I thought I caught a glimpse of Kyoya-Senpai so I came to see
if it was him." Haruhi answers, tugging slightly at her t-shirt awkwardly. To be honest she looks like a ten year old boy.

"Tamaki! Look who I found!" I exclaim as I sit next to him and Haruhi just stays standing.

"My daughter! What are you doing here?" Tamaki exclaims happily.

"I was going shopping" Haruhi answers hesitantly but asks "Why are you all here?"

"We were bored" Hikaru answers.

"Oh" Haruhi says abruptly "I better go now, I need to do some things, goodbye everyone"

With that Haruhi rushes out of the shop and walks down the street, we all watch her in silence as she slowly disappears from sight. The atmosphere around the table darkens a lot.

"Is it just me or...." I start but trail off as I try to find the right words.

"She seemed a bit distant just then" Kaoru says as he looks down with an odd look in his eyes.

"Yes she did seem to be slightly distracted" Kyoya added and pushed up his glasses.

"Okay here is your food" I state but can't quite get rid off the worry set in my gut.

Handing out everyone's food everyone starts digging in, the atmosphere of the table lightening up and soon we were all talking and joking with each other. The twins with there relentless teasing, Tamaki with his obviously innocent babbling a and Kyoya with his blunt statements.

We finished eating and we all decided to go for a look at the light displays that will be in the middle of town in a bit. In the mean time we are just going to stroll around the streets.

We were currently down a small pathway, it was closed in and was littered with trees. It was closed in by shops.

"OH!" Tamaki squealed and ran over to a pet store. I quickly run after him just as excited as he was, the others follow us at a slower pace.

"Kiara! Look at this cute rabbit!" Tamaki exclaims and I quickly go over to him and almost squeal when I see the cutest little bunny ever, it's white and has a small black spot on one of its ears.

"Excuse me ma'am? Are we allowed to touch them?" I politely ask a lady at the counter and she blushes while nodding, I'm blushing too but it's less noticeable.

I pick up the rabbit and softly stroke it, it nuzzles my hand and licks my finger. Giggling I offer Tamaki the bunny to hold and he happily takes it.

A soft sigh is heard from the girl behind the counter and I shoot a smile at her.

"Hey Hikaru, Kiara" Kaoru says gaining my attention "Look at these puppies"

I walk over to him and a warming sight is what I'm treated with. Two cute puppies where both snuggled up together and softly snoring, they were black on the top and white on the bottom with shaggy fur.

"Nawww, that's so sweet" I sigh and softly smile. I absolutely love animals.

I look to the twins who were both smiling down at the puppies and mentally 'aww'ed at them.
