Did I mention that prom was coming up? Arnold hasn't asked me but I'm fine if he doesn't want to. Kaylee and Kaycee are still trying to catch up to each other so I try to take myself easy since Arnold is only by my side. I finished my breakfast and washed my spoon and dish. "I'm going to be at the farm okay?" my mother said. I nodded and went to Arnold's house. He was in his backyard practicing soccer with his time for the game on Monday. "Arnold!" I shouted as he turned and looked. He came running to me. "What's up?"
"Uh, are we going on a date later?"
"Yep and it's a surprise! Meet me at the bridge I gave you to ring."
"WATCH OUT ARNOLD!"
The ball came flying to me as Arnold grabbed my shoulder and hugged me as the ball went out to the road and to someone's house. "Soccer hates me huh?" I said. The others laughed. "Yeah it does cause I'm better at soccer than you are." he said and laughed. "Oh it's on Arnold. Whoever loses has to do each other's homework." I said determined. "Okay deal." I opened the gate as I just realized there were so many boys than girls. Was this a fair game? I'm keeping the deal, though. Arnold explained I was on the opposite team with Brandon. If you don't remember Brandon and I made up. Remember prom? Where Brandon and um.. Let's not. I'm gonna focus on this game hardcore.
We played and the score was 3-3 tied. "Wow you must be born to be a soccer player." Arnold said. "So that means we do each other's homework." I shook my head no. "No we are not. We are going to do it together." I smiled. He agreed as he held one on my hands. "Wait here Tay." he said and ran inside. "Nice game Tay!" Brandon said. "This was awesome on the last goal you did!" said Anthony. "Thanks!" I said. Arnold came running out with a poster and a bear? "Will you go to prom with me?" he asked. The boys started to cheer and waited for me to answer. "No." I said. The cheering stopped. "I'll always go with you Arnold." I responded. They cheered again. I hugged him as I hugged the bear. My bracelet started glowing from the sunlight. "You got me real good." Arnold said. I laughed. I was kinda sweaty so I didn't hug him long. This week would be the last week
for our seniors to be at school. My dad and mom always host a festival near the farm to celebrate a school year. I was excited.
I went home and showered as I realize there was two more hours until I had to meet Arnold at the bridge. I went upstairs to grab a mini backpack as I put in my homework and two pencils. I put it on as I went outside. I wonder what my parents are even doing. I heard voices near the farm area so I ran. I saw the festival was getting set up. "Oh hey darling, why are you here?" I heard my mother say. "I heard voices and I was curious." My dad laughed out loud. "Always a curious lil monkey!" He shouted as the workers laughed. I smiled. My family was really happy and I had absolutely zero clues on why. I went to the barn as I saw Snooki. We had a dog that protects the barn. I patted him. "Jeez, when was the last time I saw you and patted you. I haven't been paying attention at all." I cried. I was so caught up with things. I heard footsteps and they came torwards me. "I've told Snooki all about you." said my mom. I giggled. "And he understood?" I responded. She scratched her head then answered. "I believe so." We laughed as we saw a chicken run in the field. Snooki was alarmed and jumped up to chase him back into the barn as my mother put it in the pen. "I'll see you later mom!" I shouted and left.
I left and went to the bridge. I stood and waited for Arnold to see him coming. He wasn't alone nor did he walked. He came out of a car. To be exact, his car. "That's a beautiful car." I said and gazed at it as if I was staring out into space. "Your going to compliment the car more than you me, aren't you?" I laughed. Wow he was seriously scared of losing against the car. Pshhhh. "Let's go." He grabbed my arm as I went in and sat down. It was a sunny day so he had the air conditioner on in the car.
He drove as we came to the city! It was so crowed and exciting. Did I mention I wore a plain dress? People who realize I'm a country gal. I felt embarrassed. Arnold was wearing some neat clothes. "Arnold, I-" he pauses me as I spoke. "Yeah I understand you aren't wearing "pretty" clothes, but you are already pretty. Don't be embarrassed." I nodded as he took me into the store. It was a luxurious store. Did I mention the prices were a little to high? By little I meant a lot. "Choose a prom dress." he said. I looked around and he found a light baby pink dress that was long. "You'd be a queen if you wore this." he said. Wait a second. He said "queen." I had a giggle. "So I'm a princess as of right now?" I said trying not to giggle." Uh. I um. Don't know yet because I.. Why don't you try this on with these heels." he said and gave to me the outfit. I tried it on and came out. He was staring deeply. "Bye." I said. "Wait! I'm sorry I was judging the dress." We laughed. Then someone walked through the door. I looked to my left to see...
