I woke up to a loud noise that was quite disturbing. Errrrmmm!! "What the world is going on!" I shouted out the window. Then I saw a man on his lawnmower next door. Oops! I went to pick up my scattered papers and put them neatly in my book bag. I feel so embarrassed. I went to get ready and headed down for breakfast. I ate a banana since I was kind of running late then I walked. "Bye mom and dad!" I said and closed the door. I looked to the field where the festival was at. It's was coming along. I went to school.
Today was just a fun activity day where we do rotations and have fun. Nothing much. Today was just another day. Arnold and I had a great time eating lunch and everything. "Wow, three years huh?" I heard a voice. "KAYLEE?" I said. "You came back from your vacation?" I said.
"Yep! I mean, it was only a few weeks. How you doing?"
"I'm great." Arnold said.
"Yeah me too! So how's the trip?"
"Not much Taylor. It was fantastic! I even got you a best friend t-shirt!"
"Awh thanks!"
"Can I ask you something, quick?"
"Why wasn't Kaycee on the trip?"
"Rehab." She said as she looked around to see if Kaycee was around. She looked down. I knew I should leave her alone but then my eyes lit up as I see someone hugging Kaylee right away. "How's the trip sister?" She said with glee.
"It's was wonderful! Trust me we are going to go somewhere together one day!"
"Yeah!"
We laughed as Arnold ran to the group to talk. "Too much girly talk huh?" I laughed. "Okay, bye guys!" I yelled and ran off with Arnold to go home.
He drove me home and at the bridge we did homework together. Tomorrow was our graduation party.
I took my bracelet and ring off and put it into my side drawer in the vintage vanity. It was old, but it was like my favorite treasure. I put my book bag on the chair and got ready to sleep. Took me a while, but I got there. The next morning Arnold offered to pick me and my family up for the graduation. We were dressed nicely.
Graduation was over and the party was started. My parents went home as the ceremony was over. This was an after party. Everyone danced and are we all had a good time. I threw away some trash as I heard someone. "Uh, Taylor could we speak, outside?" I turned around and saw Brandon. "Uh, I have to tell-" and he pulled me out. This really was weird. "Let go of me, please." I said. He didn't. "Let go of me." I repeatedly said, again. "If you don't let me go..." I said angrily. He let go of my wrist. "Taylor, I like you." There I knew he wasn't normal. He always had a different way of seeing me. "Well I don't. Goodbye." I walked away. Surprisingly, he wasn't like the guys in the movies where they would grab your hand as you walked away. I walked as I saw Arnold at the door. "Hello!" I said. He smiled as he told me to go in and talk to Kaylee and Kaycee cause they needed me so I did. I went in but I knew something would go on so I hid and peeked at them two. "So, you like Taylor?" Arnold said.
"Yeah. I do."
"I'm sorry but it looks like I um."
"What?"
"I gave her a promise ring...."
"Oh okay. I'll try to find someone."
"What about Kaycee?"
"Speaking of her I kinda left her by herself. Oops."
Arnold laughed. As they walked in I turned around to move away from the door. "Sneaking on conversations?" said Kaylee. Kaycee stood laughing. "Totally she is!" We all went to dance. It was a great night. A special night.
