Marzia and I stepped out the restaurant and looked around. Brooke and Adam were sitting on a bench talking and drinking Starbucks. I walked over and Marzia followed. I stood in from of them, and when they saw me, they shut up and starred.
"Did you follow us or something?" Brooke asked.
"Why would I want to follow you?" I snapped.
"Take it easy," Adam said, then Marzia came. "This is awkward..."
"Hello, Adam," Marzia said.
"Hey, Marzia... This is Brooklyn, the mother of my baby." Adam introduced.
"As I've heard," Marzia responded.
"So, I seen you've been busy talking about us," Brooke snapped.
"Yes, because my friends would like to understand how much of a bitch you are," I growled.
"Jade step off. Brooke did nothing," Adam intruded.
"Nothing?! This bitch-"
"Don't call me a bitch," Brooke snapped, people around were starring at us.
"I'll call you whatever I want to," I said, taking a step towards them.
"Adam, we don't need this. Let's go-"
"Baby shopping, huh? Is this baby popping out fifteen years old in which she needs clothes from Forever 21?" I interrupted.
"They're for me. I needed new clothes, Adam was kind enough to buy me some," Brooke explained as her and Adam picked up their bags.
"Mhm. Brooke you're such a bitch! You fucked both me and Adam over, and you got the baby. Stop acting like he's the best thing in the world because he's the dad of your mistake growing inside your flat stomach you anorexic," I growled.
"Jade!" Adam and Marzia yelled.
"Don't say that about my baby!" Brooke yelled as she held her stomach.
I took a step closer. "What you going to do you whore?"
Brooke put her hands up. "Jade, stop-"
"I'm not scared of your pathetic ass, Brooke! You're a worthless bitch! I'm not scared of you, now you're scared of me?! Huh?! HUH?!" I screamed, then I pushed her. She tripped backwards, but didn't fall. She dropped some bags, but Adam caught her before she fell.
"You're insane! You try to hurt a pregnant women because she's having your exs baby? You're crazy!" Adam yelled as he picked up Brooke's bags.
"And you're an ass-"
"Jade!" Maria interrupted, she pointed to other people watching, half of them were filming me.
I looked around as some of them turned off their cameras, the others kept filming. Marzia pushed me out of the crowd and got us back to Friday's in which we grabbed our bags and left money for drinks, and left.
We explained what happened, so we went back to everyone's houses, got our stuff, and headed to Lizzie's for a sleepover. I laid on the ground on my
phone with Marzia, Amity and Des say on the bed doing riddles and Liz played on her computer.
"Jade..." Liz said, I stood up and walked to her computer. "You might want to see this."
It was a video, titled "Crazy Jealous Ex Taunts and Fights Pregnant New Girlfriend." The video was me and Brooke yelling at each other, and it ended of Marzia showing me cameras. The comments were all people mad at me, saying awful things about how much of a bad person I was for pushing Brooke.
"It's just a stupid video... People will lose interest in like, a day," Amity said.
"How long before it ends up on TMZ? Or Ellen?" I asked, nobody said a word.
"If anyone had understand what had happened, they would have agreed with you. We knew you did the right thing," Marzia said.
"There's a month of Summer left, how many people are going to hate me for trying to fight the popular cheerleader?" I asked.
"On the bright side, she won't be a cheerleader with that baby," Liz said.
"No, she'll get even more support and popularity for having the baby," I responded. "No matter what I do, I'm the bad guy. Brooke's always the victim."
"Don't say that. High School isn't shit, okay? Popularity doesn't matter. One more year, that's all. You can manage," Des said.
"Can I?" I asked, nobody replied. I guess I got my answer.

The next day I woke up before anyone else. I packed my bags and left early in the morning. I got in my car and drove home- Tristan wasn't home. And he wasn't going to be for about a week or two- camping trip with his friends. I was alone. Again. I locked the front door and slowly slid down in. Letting tears fall down my cheeks and off my chin. I sniffled and kept crying. I didn't move. I really fucked up badly.
I don't even know what happened- I don't like Adam anymore. I can't deal with him in my life when all his brought me is more pain than my razor. I saw him happier with a girl who's brought him nothing but pain and I lost my mind completely. Brooke is an evil girl- and she's up to something.
But as of now, I was unconscionable. I didn't want to be here. And I've felt like this before. Except Adam won't be here to stop me. But I refused to leave without saying goodbye to the person who I loved most of all at the moment. I picked up my phone from off the ground and clicked on contacts, then waited for him to answer.
"Hello?"
"Hey..." I dragged out.
"Jade? Are you okay?" He asked.
"No, Connor I'm not. I hit a low point and I can't come back from it," I responded.
"Hey- where are you? I'll come and get you," Connor said.
"No. I'm leaving. I can't feel pain anymore and not be able to love anyone anymore without being replaced and humiliated. Okay? I love you and please know that," I replied.
"You're not at Liz's still, right?! I'll call her now-"
"No I went back home," I answered. "I love you man."
"Jade, wait-"
but I hung up. I threw my phone across the room and went to my bathroom. I searched through cabinets before I found my pain killers and anti-depressants. I poured a hand full of each into my right hand and looked af myself one more time before I leave.
I shook my head. "Disgusting whore."
I shoved the handfuls down my throat and swallowed. Next thing I knew, the world was dizzy and changing colors. Then, I fell to the ground with a loud thud, and everything went black.
And there was no Adam around to save me.
