Chapter 13 –

I sat there staring at the wall. I was bored. I had been sat in this stupid cell for three days and no one had come and seen me apart form the servants to give me food. I had drained the battery on my iPod and I was tired of looking out the tiny window watching to world go by. Every time someone would walk past I would get excited hoping that it was for me. That excitement was gone now and I ignored the footsteps. No one talked to me. I missed Grace and Rick and all I wanted to do was to go home. I missed Bree and Ryan so much. I sighed and heaved myself up off the floor and walked over to the bars of my cell slowly. I looked either way and found the guards sat at the bottom of the hallway. I had never noticed them before. I had to get out of here so I could get the evidence I needed. I couldn’t just stay in this tiny cell forever. I was going to be bored.

“Hey!” I called out. They looked up for a moment and then looked back down to what they were doing. Damn.

“Hey bone head! Come here!” I yelled again but this time they ignored me. Time for plan B.

“Hey! I need your help. I’m having an asthma attack and I can’t breathe! “Help!” I slowed down my breathing and began gasping for breath. They looked up and I began to cough.

“Help me! I can’t breathe!” I put on a panicked voice and as they stood up I let myself fall to the floor. I heard them running and I closed my eyes and slowed my breathing even further as they came to my cell. I heard them cursing and then they opened the cell door. They rushed over to me and knelt down beside me. One of them took my wrist and felt for my pulse.

“She still has a pulse.” He muttered.

“Good. Go for help and I will stay here and try and wake her.” The other replied. The one got up and started to walk away. I then snapped my eyes open and rolled over and pinned the guard to the floor. I quickly knocked him unconscious and grabbed his keys. I stood up and walked out to the hallway quietly. I saw the guard turn the corner at the bottom of the hallway. I smiled and locked the guard in my cell and ran down the hall. I turned the corner and ran up the steps which led to the main part of the castle. I ran down the hallways only hiding a few times in the alcoves as people past me. I headed straight for Brendan’s room hoping that the person I was looking for was there. I ran faster and faster and smiled when I got to the room. I knocked on the door and of course she replied.

“Who is it?” Talia’s voice demanded.

“Maid services your majesty.” I said in a nasal voice hoping that I had fooled her.

“You may enter.” I did a mini happy dance and entered the room with my head low. I shut the door behind me and locked it.

“What are you doing?” She demanded and turned and faced her.

“Surprise bitch!” She gasped and took a step back.

“What are you doing here?” She demanded and I laughed.

“I am looking for you of course.”

“Why?”

“To get revenge.” I slid a hand into my pocket and turned on my recording device that I had hidden in my bra and had transferred to my pocket.
