It has been ten minutes ever since Tiffany has arrived and she hasn't stopped sobbing. Tom is casually watching TV and I'm standing like an idiot in front of her not knowing what to do to just help her. I feel stupid standing there and watching her cry. The way she tries to cover her sobs remind me of Angie whenever she would start crying. Angie hates crying and she will bite her lips so hard to contain the cries. She even once got herself a bruise since she bit so hard a drop of blood came out. Angie says that crying shows weakness but I disagree. Crying shows you have emotions and are human.

"Uh, Ti-"

"You know, I thought he actually cared about me. Stupid me, I had to fall for him." Tom stifles a laugh and she gets angry. She looks at him with this malefic look and wipes her tears, only causing her makeup to smear more under her eyes.

"You think it's funny to have your heartbroken? Who hurt you? Because you didn't become an asshole just like that. Was it your mommy? She never cared for you?" She sniggers and he gets up from the couch, marching towards her with the same look on his face like hers.

"Listen you little Australian girl, don't mess with me. I hit the double of the hit I get." He glares at her and she grins.

"Oh really? You threatening me? How cute, but you're not scaring anybody. And if you do dare to do anything to me or say anything you'll regret it." She pats his chest and I notice his hands from fists as he looks at her.

"Okay, stop it you two!" I separate them but it doesn't help because they won't shut up.

"Stop? I haven't even started. So, tell me. Did your mom abandon you and left you with your alcoholic dad who beat you up?" Tom grabs ahold of her shirt, raising her from the feet, and my eyes widen but she seems unfazed.

"Are you going to hit me? Come on, macho. Become your dad!" He forcefully puts her down and storms out.

"Coward!" She yells at him and then we hear the door slam. "Just like I thought, all barks and no bites." She crosses her arms over her chest.

This is the most I have got about Tom's life. The only things I knew about him were that he loves drinking, having sex and partying. I never bothered to ask about his personal life since it would of been pointless. When I'm with them they never talk about anything serious. Our topics are girls, parties, alcohol and that's it. Finding out he comes from a broken family with an abusive father kind of explains a lot of things about him. I can now understand why he sees girls the way he sees them. I feel bad for him. The way Tiffany triggered him really affected him. I had never seen him like that. For a second I thought he was actually going to hit her.

"You are crazy." I tell her and she shrugs.

"Someone needs to put him in his place." She nonchalantly says. "He could of hit you!"

"He wouldn't and didn't. And you were here in case he went loco." I gasp at how calmly she is handling all of this. I can see why she is one of Angie's best friends. They are a lot alike.

"Anyways, are you feeling better?" I decide to change subjects. This catches her off guard but she still acts as if everything was alright.

"Yeah, I have a tendency of picking up fights when I'm upset. It takes my mind off the subject." Her phone starts ringing and she picks it up.

"Oh hey," she answers.

"Yeah, I'm sorry. I know. I'm at Justin's house, since I thought they were together." She looks at me and turns around.

"Is that Angie?" I ask and she ignores me.

"Tiffany," I call but she keeps ignoring me. "Why are you ignoring me all of a sudden?" I turn her around and take her phone, which displays Crazy Bitch as the name of the caller, also know as Angie.
