I walked into the common room to see my Slytherins waiting up for me.
"Leah, you can't compete!" Pansy yelled, coming over to me in tears.
"I have to," I sighed, dropping to the couch.
"How'd you get your name in the Goblet?" Draco asked quietly.
"Draco, I didn't put my name in," I said.
"Then how did you get chosen?" he asked.
"I don't know... I just...I don't know," I said, making my voice crack and then letting the tears spill. I felt a pair of arms wrap around me and I saw Crabbe hugging me.
"You're hugging me?" I asked in disbelief.
"You're not all bad...and this tournament wasn't meant for you," he shrugged. I smiled slightly and then I felt another pair of arms around me, and when I turned around, Draco's lips were pressed to mine.
"It's going to be okay," he murmured and I nodded.
"Well... Slytherin has a Hogwarts champion!" Blaise cheered and I smiled.
"Time to show 'em who really rules the school," Pansy grinned.
"If I have to compete, I might as well win," I shrugged.
"You're skilled enough," Draco agreed and I laughed.
"What's the first task?" Goyle asked.
"They didn't tell us. It a surprise," I said, rolling my eyes.
"You'll win anyway," Blaise shrugged.
"Of course I will. But, once again, Potter is mad at me," I smirked.
"Why?" Draco smiled.
"I was acting too Slytherin for him," I rolled my eyes. The common room fell out laughing, everybody talking at once about Potter and the tournament.

I woke up before my alarm and groaned. I slept like a rock last night, not even having a single dream. I got dressed, not even bothering with any part of my uniform. I turned my hair back to the pretty blonde and decided I wanted to keep it like that for a little while. I made my way into the common room and smiled as I saw familiar blonde hair over top of a Daily Prophet. I walked over and took the paper away, smirking at Draco. He laughed and pulled me onto his lap.
"Good morning, love," he smiled.
"Good morning," I smiled back before kissing him.
"I like starting off my mornings like this," he chuckled.
"Get used to it," I said. I then noticed something blinking on his shirt and smiled brightly. He was wearing a badge that read LEAH LOVELAND, THE SLYTHERIN CHAMPION! Draco caught me looking at it and smirked before poking it and the letters turned red. POTTER STINKS. I laughed loudly and Draco laughed with me.
"Brilliant," I smiled.
"We made them last night after you went to bed. Here you go," he smiled, handing me one. I pinned it to my shirt and smirked. Potter won't be happy with me, but I'll deal with that later.
"Come on, let's go down to breakfast," he smiled and I stood up, taking Draco's hand. When we entered the Hall, there weren't many people there yet, so thankfully it was peaceful. For the time being. I'd only just started eating when Viktor sat down across from me.
"Leah, I cannot believe somebody put your name in the Goblet. I von't let you get hurt," he said, and then laughed when he saw my badge.
"And if I vant one?" he smiled.
