Between Regions

Part 6

     "What's going on?!" Astrid was panicking. Something was happening to Vivi. Narumi was grinning again. "Vivi's evolving into Spewpa!" "Congrats Narumi!" Eito was clapping. The blue light fizzled, revealing Vivi's new form. "Wow! It looks so cool!" Astrid picked up Vivi and pet her. 

     "Maybe we should postpone this battle...let's just go straight to Santalune!" Eito returned Litleo and Narumi returned Vivi. With Astrid leading the way, they marched to Santalune together.

     A few minutes later, they arrived at the Santalune gates. Narumi went straight to the Pokemon center. She pulled out three Pokeballs: Fuji's, Cotton's, and Bug's. "I'm really sorry, you three, but it's unfair to everyone that I have a bunch of overly strong Pokemon like you...Bye guys." Narumi put Fuji's Pokeball in the slot. It was vacuumed up into the PC. She then put in Cotton's, then Bug's. After, she left the Pokemon center to go back to her friends.

     "So you put those three in the PC," Astrid remarked. Narumi nodded. "Yeah." Eito tapped on her shoulder. "Hey, want to go meet Viola now?" Narumi cheered. "Viola!" Viola was one of her mom's sisters, along with Alexa. Both Astrid and Eito were confused about her sudden burst of energy. Narumi turned and bolted towards Viola's gym.

     "Vi-olaaa!" Narumi called. Her voice echoed through the room. The three heard footsteps running up the tall staircase. "Naru-miiii!" The two exchanged hugs. "I heard you moved to Geosenge!" Narumi smiled. "Yep! Mom and Dad say they want you to visit them soon. Our new house is so big compared to our little treehouse!" Viola giggled. "That's great, MiMi!"

     "Also, I'm on a journey! Those are my friends, Astrid and Eito!" Narumi gestured towards the two, walking through the door, out of breath from running to catch up with Narumi. They waved. "They seem nice...anyway, show me your Pokemon!" Narumi nodded. "Okay, but we have to go to the Pokemon center...be right back, guys!" Narumi waved at Astrid and Eito, and dragged Viola to the Pokemon center.

     Narumi opened the PC Menu and picked the three Pokemon in the Box. She grabbed the Pokeballs from the Retrieve slot and clipped them to the Pokeball thing on her bag. "We might want to go outside for this!" Viola nodded. "Alright!"

     The pair walked outside and Narumi threw all five Pokeballs in the air at once. Viola squealed. "YOU HAVE A SPEWPAAAA!" Narumi covered her ears. "Y-yes...I caught a Scatterbug named Vivi, she evolved about 20 minutes ago, actually!" Viola clapped her hands. "You'll have a Vivillion just like MINE!" Narumi smiled as Viola scooped up Vivi while Narumi showed her the rest of her Pokemon.

     "This is Bug! Aarune gave it to me." Viola smiled. "Aarune gave you his Pokemon? That's so sweet!" Narumi grinned. "And here's Fuji! He's my Espeon. It's actually a funny story how he evolved. I'll tell you later." Viola pet Fuji on the head, and he chirped.

     "This is Firefox! A guy named Trevor gave us our starters, and this is the one I picked!" Viola oohed and aahed as she viewed her from almost every direction. "Her fur is so shiny, and the tufts in her ears are so soft! You HAVE to let me do a photo shoot with her!" Narumi grinned. "Okay! And last but not least, here's Cotton! He's the last Pokemon I've caught, and he's the fluffiest little thing!" Cotton made a purring sound at the praise. Viola set down Vivi and carefully extended her hand toward's Cotton's tail. "I wonder if I could just..."

     "No!" It was too late. Viola touched the amber-colored ball on the top of Cotton's tail. "YOWCH!" Viola cradled her hand like it was a sick child. "I guess you did tell me no, so I've only got myself to blame." Narumi and Viola burst into a fit of giggles. "Ok, ok, it's time to go back to the PC, guys!" Narumi returned Fuji, Cotton, and Bug, and put them into the chute on the PC.
