Lucy's POV
I hate him.
More than I hated those stupid monsters than resigned under my bed as a child.
That little rude, inconsiderate bastard had to spoil my day.
Like I asked him to like me, he disguises--
"Lucy?"
Lucas... Yeah we're having lunch.
"Yeah... Sorry, I must have zoned out"
He raise his eyebrow " You okay?"
"Yeah, everything is fine. Am fine" The last thing I need is someone else knowing what happen.
"Okay" I ensure there's no emotion on my face to give me away
"You going to finish that? " looking over at his untouched fries.
With an half smile he slides it over to me. Lucas runs his hands through his hair.
"Have you ever heard about a..."
I didn't stop listening to him because I knew what was coming was going to be boring, I didn't stop listening because I had something better to do.
"Lucy" Sally walks over our table stopping and winks at me.
She must be thrilled that her little set up was working out.
Not that I was complaining, I definitely wasn't. It's just that I wanted to have done it on my own.
Natalie walks over standing beside her. I haven't seen her from our little encounter. She is quite lucky actually, any thoughts I had about telling Nathan had certain disappear.
"Hey" Natalie says to me
For someone who looks so calm and innocent it would be impossible to have imagine her cheated.
Don't judge a book by its cover huh.
"Hey, what's--"
What the hell? What was he doing here, Nathan,Sarah, Ryan and Jake walk in looking around, for the Natalie and Sally I suppose.
When Ryan spots us he heads over to my table with Sarah following close behind.
She a tail or something?
"Lucy" Ryan addresses me
Sarah shot me a -want to pull your hair our- glare. I bite me cheeks to prevent from laughing.
"Hey" I say when Jake reaches the table, I ignore the persons who seem to have some sort of hatred towards me.
Lucas clears his throat gaining the attention of the little group.
"This is Lucas" I introduce
There was no way on earth I would be conducting introductions of everyone.
"Hey, I'm Ryan" he must have noticed what my intention weren't.
"Nathan, Sarah, Natalie, Jake and Sally" he points to each individual gaining a few nods or hellos.
"Nice meeting you all" Lucas says politely
At least there were still a respectable guy left, unlike some self esteem crusher.
Lucas leans towards my hears his hot breath against my skin
"I have to go, I'll call you"
I nod while he excuses himself from the table saying goodbye to the group.
I watch as he gets into his black Honda Suv and backs out of the driving way.
"Someone kicked it off" Sally tease
"Where just friends" I say under my breath
"woah, your blushing" Sally teases further
