That Lucy chick, who does she think she is?
Going out with that love sick idea of a guy, they deserve each other. Am just sorry for the poor fellow.
She's in every one of my classes so far for God sakes.
"uhm... Sorry"
"Watch where you--"
Turning to see a Burnett in a gray hoodie.
Damn she hot.
A piece of her blonde hair escaping from the messy bun
"I said sorry"
Feisty
"Yeah... I heard you" I remark
If it had ever been a few months ago she'd be all over me by now.
The Burnett turns on her heel and walks away.
Who knows, maybe I'll could see her after Natalie.
She thought I chested on her once.
There was this chick in most of my classes last term, she would just stared at Me all day so I invited her to a party. She got drunk and spilled her love for me.
It was down right hilarious, I had to video her. I sent Ryan the video soon everyone had it.
Natalie thought I took advantage of her and went as far as breaking up with me.
It took me a month along with a couple of gifts before she took me back.
I wasn't about to allow history to repeat itself. She might not be my future wife or anything but I still love that chick.
"Nathan! "
Ryan walks up to be with Jake behind him. Ryan have been my best friend from kindergarten. In high school our little crew was formed.
Jake join us first, we met him at a hockey tournament in our freshman year. Sarah came next, being Ryan's girlfriend and all. She just kind of stick to us.
Sally introduced me to Natalie. She invited having her over last thanksgiving having me drooling over her the moment I say her.
From the minute I saw her I had to get to know her. Mother would warn me about getting close to her.
No one would have ever believe that I would settle down.
"You ready? " Ryan stands before me
" Ready for? " I must have missed something
" Natalie told us to meet them for lunch" Jakes answers
"Natalie... your girl friend" Ryan explain
Of course I remembered Natalie dumbass, just not lunch with her.
"Yeah, let's go"
Another typical lunch of ours, we'd sit at a little table Natalie besides me probably lying on my shoulders after an hour or so.
Ryan would sit next to Sarah ignoring her when she speaks and Jake would flirt with the waitress.
I feel someone punch my arm "Man, you just forgot about your girl!" Ryan yells
"No you little shit, I forgot about lunch"
Jake looks at us while laughing "your forgetting about a your girl while I'm wishing I had a girl,"
Jake as been single for as long as I've known him, always saying a chick wasn't what he was looking for.
"why do the bad guys get the girls" he continues
Ryan looks over at me and we both laugh gaining a disgusted look from Jake.
We head over to my car, Jake makes his way in the back while Ryan in the passenger seat. I turn to face them before placing my keys in the engine.
"let's just make this lunch fast, we all know it's because of the first day back"
Each time a new term would begin Natalie and Sarah would invite us to lunch as there idea of a reminder that they were still there and we shouldn't even be thinking of any other chick.
They wouldn't say it but we aren't fools.
"Let's just make the chick's happy, leave the waitress flirting to Jake over there" I turn to find Jake's angry scowl.
Ryan and I laugh as I turn the keys in the engine. He'll get a chick, one day.
"Will that new girl be there? " Jake asks
" Which new girl? " Ryan turns to him, I glance in the mirror to see Jake smiling
" Sally's roommate, you know, that girl that kicked your ass"
That idiot likes Lucy, Gosh I need new friends.
"Lucy? Jake don't even go there, you aren't her type" Ryan says laughing
"Jake, your too desperate now" I add
Let's not get me wrong, Lucy is hot but she doesn't belong here, not with us.
" She wouldn't even look your way" Ryan says
Lucy seems like the type of chick to go out with the senator's son and be friends with some billionaires daughter.
She just look like she had it all.
"We'll see about that"
Jake tries to get every chick, he thinks there all checking him out. When he thought Sally was checking him out I just had to burst his bubble.
Jakes an okay guy but not for my twin sister, no friend of mine could ever be with her.
All my friends were like me in one way or the other. Either they didn't want a relationship or they couldn't resist cheating.
I gave up my title after meeting Natalie, I was a player.
I used chick then forgot about them, I warned them though.
If they refused to listen, -which they usually do- it was up to them. I would forget about them without thinking of how they might feel.
I held the best parties, invited the hottest chick. If I saw Sally around any guy there I would kick him out.
Over time she learned to keep her love life from me.
When drive into the parking lot of A&E deli, Natalie stands with her arms cross staring at the car.
Jake opens the car door and walks towards her while Ryan hurries after him.
After removing the key I slowly open the car door and walk towards her. I push both of my hand in the air " I'm innocent"
Natalie looks at me with half a smile as I take her hand leading her inside.
