Chapter 16.

"You look fine Thalia,Stop fidgeting" Travis chuckled.

We were sat in the car outside the fallen angel's house,we were all meeting for Christmas Eve dinner.

I sighed pulling at my dress again,"this is stupid Travis.Take me back to school" I pleaded with puppy dog eyes.

Travis shook his head,stepping out of the car.I watched as he walked around the front of the car,an evil gleam in his eyes.He stopped at my door,opening it with a smirk on his face.

"Travis,what are you... OH MY GOD! PUT ME DOWN!" I yelled as I was swung over his shoulder,earning a loud laugh from Travis.

I hit him continuously on his back,trying to push myself off him,but he was too strong.So I gave up and just watched the floor beneath me move as he carried me up to the front door.

"Well hello" I heard someone chuckle from the door,obviously my embarrassment was amusing.At this moment I was entirely grateful I had worn my denim shorts underneath my dress,over wise they would be getting a very good view of my underwear.

"Ugh... Travis,put me down already" I said annoyed,glaring daggers at his back.

Travis just laughed and carried on walking,strangely the floor changed from stone to a very light cream carpet,oh great,I was going to kill him!

Faint laughter erupted from the room as we walked in,and by the sound of it there was allot of people.I pouted,could this day get any worse.

I stumbled forward as Travis put me down on the floor,making me fall into him.I glared at him as he gave me an innocent smile,he knew what was coming.

An evil smile crept onto my face as I lifted my leg,kneeing him in his,lets just say,sensitive part of his body.He huffed out a painful groan,falling on to the floor."Uncool" He heaved as he rolled on the floor clutching his manhood.

By this time the whole room was laughing at us.

"Suck it up Travster" I grinned,revenge was sweet.

I looked around to find everyone smiling at me,I smiled sheepishly "heyyy" I laughed nervously.Horrible habit.

 "Thalia" I heard someone exclaim happily,I looked around to find Zane grinning at me.I sighed in relief,at least I knew someone here.

He pulled me into a tight hug,making me grin."hi" I said happily as he set me back on my feet ruffling my hair with his hand,I slapped his hand away pouting,making him chuckle."Always so violent Thalia" He grinned throwing his arm my shoulder,making me face everyone.

I looked at everyone one at a time,some people with looks of admiration,others with amusement or curiosity.My gaze landed on a familiar face,he smiled kindly at me.He walked other to me hugging me lightly."Thalia my dear,so glad you could make it,although it looks as though it took some convincing " he smiled amused,glancing at Travis who was now stood pouting at me,feeling sorry for himself.I laughed,shaking my head.

"Hey Romano" I grinned turning back to were he was stood in front of me "thanks for having me,I don't mean to intrude or anything" I said biting my lip nervously,glancing around the room.

"Nonsense" he laughed as he walked towards the couch,"your are as much part of this clan as everyone here his" he smiled,gesturing his hand around the room.

I grinned,"that's really nice of you" I looked at every ones kind faces as they smiled at me openhearted,it almost made me want to cry at how welcoming they all were towards me,"thank you" I said sincerely,earning a few kind chuckles from the men in the room.
