Chapter 23

Soo,it has been ages since I last updated,and I thought I'd better get this story uploaded and get it over and done with... I wrote this ages ago so it might be a bit crap,so sorry about that :/ 

One more chapter left after this then I'm finally done,THANK GOD! Not really liking this story at the moment,didn't get the feedback I had hoped :(

Chapter 23.

I woke up with a start when my wrist started twitching.I gasped looking down,watching as the silver J became dark again.

My heart thudded,a feeling of giddyness flowing through me.Jet?,was all I thought.

I looked around me at the sleeping figures that were scattered around on the floor.Everyone was still fast asleep.Thank goodness.

My head snapped up in the direction there was a faint noise coming from.I could hear slight footsteps in the forest,crackling of leaves and twigs as someone walked over them.

I jumped up running,not knowing were I was going,just following my instincts.It lead me into the middle of the forest.I searched the place,looking around for Jet.

I wondered around for a while,scanning the place.I could feel him near though,there was only a matter of time until he showed.

The footsteps came to life again.Someone was close by.

I walked through some trees to the left,my gaze catching something in the distance.I froze,squinting my eyes.

Sure enough,standing right there about 50 feet away in the middle of the trees was,Jet.

I clapped my hands,dissaperearing and reapearing a few feet from the now smiling Jet.

"Jet?" I mumbled,was it really him? I blinked unsure.Was I dreaming or was he really here?

Jet nodded,grinning.He opened his arms motioning me over with his hands.

Tears rolled down my cheeks,I ran over jumping into his arms,wrapping my legs around him.I squeezed him into a death grip,making sure he was actually there.

I loosened my grip on him when he didn't dissapear.

Jet hugged me back,pressing his face into my hair.

"Your... alive" I sobbed into his shoulder,"I... I thought... you were... dead".

Jet pulled me away,placing me back on the floor,only for him to pull me close to him,wrapping one of his arms around my waist,the other was cupped around the back of my neck,stroking my jaw line with his thumb.

He stared into my eyes,searching for something.

"You saved me" He said simply,shrugging.

He smiled guenuinly at me,"I don't understand why though?.I thought you hated me" he said,confusion all over his face.

I laughed slightly,shaking my head,"I don't hate you Jet,far from it actually" I whispered looking down.

My heart was beating fast,and butterflies were in my stomach.

I glanced up a him,searching his face for a reaction,there was nothing.

I waited for a responce,feeling stupid.I just told him how I felt and he just stares at me like an idiot.

He stayed silent,making me pull away from him,turning away.

"But you don't want me"I whispered,tears rolling down my cheeks,"You never did".

I started to walk away.My chest feeling heavy,a hollow,empty feeling.

Jet grabbed my arm,turning me back around to face him.He stared into my eyes for a while,he stroked the tears away.

"Of course I want you,silly girl" Jet chuckled,making me freeze in shock,what?

 I blinked,staring at him dumbstruck,did he actually say that?

"You... you want me?" I asked in disbeleif.

Jet chuckled,pressing  his forehead against mine,closing his eyes.

He stayed silent for a few minutes,a smile plastered on his face.I was about to say something when he whispered "forever and always".

My eyes widened,Oh my God! 

Jet stared at my shocked expession and chuckled.My heart was going into overdrive,beating really loudly,that I was sure even he could hear it.

He pulled away entwining our hands together,making my wrist twitch again,I watched as our marks became a deep red colour,making my heart thud uncontrollably.

I smiled down at our wrists,until Jet pulled my face up with his free hand so I met his gaze.

Jet grinned,"I am your's".

I stared at him in awe,he was actually mine,and I was his.

No one else but me and him.

I smiled shyly,biting my lip,not knowing what to say or do.I just stared at him in awe.

"Come here" Jet chuckled,he wrapped his arms around my waist,pulling me to his chest.His face got lower to mine,my lips brushing his lips as I talked,"I think you should kiss me now" I whispered eagerly.

"Try and stop me" he  smiled,capturing my lips with his.

He kissed me eagerly,but this time he was sweet and gentle,unlike our first kiss.We kissed for a while,both of us too unwilling to pull away... until we we needed air.

He pulled away,smiling at me.

"Now that was our first kiss" he chuckled breathlessy.

I shook my head,breathless myself."Na ah,I wasn't finished yet" I pouted,wanting to kiss him again.

"Oh really?"Jet said teasingly,kissing my jaw."Are you sure about that?" he smiled kissing my chin.

I nodded eagerly,making him chuckle.

He smiled before pressing his lips to mine again.

Haha,I just can't get over how bad this story sounds to me now... :')
