Chapter 10.

"Thalia,do you want a slice of toast?" Jared shouted across the room.

We were having breakfast in the cafeteria.

I nodded a reply,watching as he grabbed a few things and made his way over to the table.

He sat down next to Rona,"morning" he smiled at her,kissing her on the forehead.

I smiled,they were so cute!.

I grabbed a piece of toast and began nibbling on it.

"Hey Thalia" I heard someone exclaim from beside me.

I jumped squirming at the same time dropping my toast,I looked around finding Travis grinning at me.

"Jesus Christ Travis!,you scared the life out of me!" I squealed,slapping him on the arm.

He started laughing,rubbing his arm were I had slapped him,"no need for violence" he grinned.

I rolled my eyes,smiling at him.

Someone coughed,gaining my attention.

I looked around,Jared and Rona were staring at us,Rona with a huge grin on her face and Jared looking at me questionably.

"Oh.This is Travis,Jared.he's a Fallen" I said simply.

Travis rolled his eyes at me,then turned to Rona "hey Rona!" he grinned he turned to Jared,"alright?" he said nodding a hello at him.

I snorted,making everyone stare at me.

"What?" I said grinning,"it was such a manly reply" I snickered.

Rona and Jared smiled while Travis scowled at me,I stuck my tongue out at him making his lips twitch up at the sides.

"Whatever" he said pulling a strand of my hair.

He got up from the table standing next to me,I looked at him curiously.

"Come on" Travis said,pulling me up by my arm.

"Huh?.Where are we going?" I muttered,slightly confused.

He chuckled,"to the mall" he grinned.

"Oh" I said standing still."Well,can Rona and Jared come?" I asked smiling.

Travis rolled his eyes,"why are you asking?".

I shrugged then smiled.I turned around to face Rona and Jared,I grinned.

"Come on you guys,were off to the mall" I said excitedly.

Rona smiled,"you guys go,we were gonna go watch a movie anyway".

"um,okay.Have fun" I smiled.

"you too" Rona smiled.

15 minutes later and we were stood in the male's clothing department.

"You are not buying that!" I screeched,pulling the disgusting yellow button up shirt out of Travis's grasp.

Travis frowned at me,grabbing for the shirt again,"and why not?".

I looked at him incredulously,holding the shirt up out of his reach,"Travis,this is the ugliest fudging shirt I have ever seen!,I will not ever let you wear something like this".

He chuckled,still reaching for the shirt,"Thalia,I can dress myself thank you".

I shook my head,"and what kind of a friend would I be if I let you walk around wearing something like this?",I put the shirt back on the clothes rack and pushed Travis away.
