Luke's POV
I totally understand that the boys and I have gotten to the point in our career's that we need security and protection when we go out in public places... but I really, REALLY, hate being shoved around. About 20 or so of our fans had shown up to greet us at the airport in LA when we landed. The boys and I wanted nothing more than to stick around and talk and take pictures with each one. They were the reason we were where we were. They were the reason why we loved what we did so much. Just as we started talking and taking pictures, we were being pushed through the airport towards an exit so we could get into our car that would take us away. I was trying to lift myself over the broad shoulders of the security, trying to send waves and flash smiles at the remaining fans, when my eyes locked with a pair of deep chocolate brown ones. 'Wow', was the only thought running through my head as my eyes trailed from her eyes, down to her flushed cheeks. She had high set cheek bones that made her angular face seem so structured, yet soft at the same time. From her cheeks I trailed down to her lips. She had obviously been biting down on her bottom lip because it was swollen and a bit chapped. She had them spread wide into a large grin, with almost perfectly straight white teeth, except for the couple of slightly crooked ones towards the front. She was breathtaking. I wanted to go over to her and say something, to learn her name and to hear her voice, but I knew I wouldn't have a chance with the security here, so I simply flashed her one of my signature smirks and sent a wink in her direction. Her already flushed cheeks turned a deep shade of crimson as she lowered her head, looking at her black converse out of shyness. I swear my heart fell into my stomach and I gave a small chuckle as we continued to be shoved through the airport towards the exit. We soon stepped through the doors to more camera flashes, screaming fans, and curious reporters. We didn't even get the chance to stop and chat this time, as we were being placed in a large black Escalade. The leather seats matched the exterior of the car with their black color and the windows did the same, as they were tinted so no one could see inside. As we all got comfortable for the ride to the hotel, the three boys were sharing some of the stories from our impromptu meet and greet just minutes ago. "Anyone want a sour patch kid? Laura gave me like three packages!" Michael said with a mouthful. Laura must have been the name of the fan that had given the candy to Mikey... I wonder what my mystery girls name was. I pictured her face in my mind as I began to block out the shouts of Calum and Ashton fighting over who got the ninja turtle sunglasses. 'Tara, she looked like a Tara' I thought. I wonder if she will be at the show tomorrow night... "Luke!" Ashton's yell brought me back to reality. "Yeah man?" I responded. "Why are you being so quiet? Any fan stories to share with us?" Ashton prodded. "No reason, I am just super tired from the flight" I lied, only answering part of Ash's question. The boys seems satisfied with my answer though. 'Good' I thought to myself, 'I plan on keeping Tara all to myself'.
