We cheered as we drank, neither of us stopping until the other does, but yet I ended before he did because I was finished mine. "HA! I beat 'cha but I had an unfair advantage for being half Irish" Craig said confidently as I lean over to pick up his can, which still had some left in it.

"Ey mate," I said, "I'm full blooded Irish and I only stopped because I finished mine." I smirked while turning my can over. "Now, if you faced me in rugby you'd win in a heartbeat, you seem like you play?" As I said that I grabbed his arm without thinking, which causes me to pull away and blush slightly.

"Damn, you can drink for sure." he said looking at the can, "Oh, and I actually did play rugby and you didn't need an excuse to touch my arms." I couldn't help to distract from my embarrassment by grabbing another Guinness.

After a couple of drinks from the can I broke the silence by saying, "I'm getting bored of this place, want to go get something to eat?"

"Sure, what are you feeling up for?" Craig said as he grabbed his other two Guinness, "I know there's a Hard Rock Cafe two or so buildings down the road."

"Alright I'll meet you outside I have to go tell my friend where I'll be." Craig walked towards the entrance as I scanned the room for Chloe, I ended up finding her walking out of the hallway where the bathrooms were. I jogged over to her asking for the key to the locker and to tell her where I was headed.

"Alright, be careful kid, call me if you get a ride home." I hugged her goodbye before going into the janitor's closet to retrieve my clutch. I locked the locker, leaving the key on top of the locker for Chloe, then I left the janitor's closet. I made my way through the crowd though it was difficult it was worth it because when I opened the front door to leave I saw Craig standing there waiting for me. The moonlight made him look like some sort of angel, cliche I know, but it's what he looked like.

"I started to think you left," I spoke with relief and happiness, "Sorry I took so long"

"I wouldn't leave and you didn't take too long." he assures with a smile, "Well, not long enough for me to complain."

I laughed under my breathe as I asked, "So, ready to go get a bite?" he agreed with a slight nod as well as gently putting his arm around me to lead me to the restaurant. As we walked, which wasn't far, I couldn't help to notice how comfortable I was around Craig and so quickly. I could only guess it's his natural friendly feeling he gives off, yet I couldn't help but think that I've seen him somewhere before, but where? I won't let my over thinking and curiosity stop me from having a nice time with Craig, but I think he already noticed that I spaced out.

"Hey," he chuckled as he waved his hand in front of my face, "Earth to Amber."

"Uh huh uh," I blurted out as I returned to reality, "Oh, we're here. Sorry I was just lost in space for a bit."

"Yeah I couldn't tell, now our waitress has already gotten us a table." he assured me as I followed him to our table which was a two person seater. As I sat down the waitress returned to take our drink orders which ended up being water for both of us, seeing as we didn't necessarily need more alcohol. Once she left there was a nice silence, which I took to take a look at the restaurant's decorations. As I glanced around I ended up looking at the wall our table was against.

"No way is that Nikki Sixx's guitar!" I said with excitement, I know you weren't expecting a farm girl to like Motley Crue but I do.

"Wait, you know and like Motley Crue?" he asks.

"Well, yeah." I inquire, "I love their music who can't jam out to Dr. Feelgood or Girls, Girls, Girls? Especially my favorite, Shout At The Devil." Craig looks at me with admiration or with a face of impressionment.

"Holy," he says speechless, "you didn't seem the type to like Motley Crue."

"Trust me when I say this Craig I'm full of surprises." I chirped.

"Ditto" he muttered. What could that possibly mean? I was going to ask him that very question but I was stopped by the waitress.

"What would you like to eat?" she says with fake enthusiasm, "Our soup of the day is cream of corn."

It took us long to order as we never touched our menus yet, but in the end I ended up ordering Twisted Mac & Cheese with a side of fresh vegetables and Craig ordered the Hickory BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger with a side of seasoned fries. As the waitress walked away I decided to drop the question and to change the subject.

"So," I asked curiously, "I've learned your first name how about your last, if I don't know that it'll be like I don't know you at all."

"Thompson. Craig Thompson." he greeted me, "What about you Amber, you gotta last name?"

"Tierney. Amberlee Tierney." I replied. Once I said that he got some sort of glimmer in his eye I couldn't put my finger on it but it was there.

"Amberlee, huh? I've never heard that before." he confessed. "I guess I'm one of a kind." I said lightheartedly with a wink. "Yes you are, Amber, yes you are." The silence that was once comfortable got an awkward vibe to it, luckily I was saved by the waitress bring our food.

We shared very few words throughout the meal and whatever was brought up was about the taste of the food. We finished and by finished I mean I finished all of mine and Craig had leftovers.

"And you can eat? I'll tell you this, you just keep impressing me, Amber." he admits. I giggle at his comment and the slight embarrassment he got for asking a box seeing as I could finish my food with no issue and Craig is waddling out of here.
