Heyyy guys, I'm back!
I'm so so x1000 sorry for not logging in for a R E A L L Y long time! I was focused more on my writing on my main account (sarchastic) and therefore wasn't able to come here in a really long time.
Anyways, here's a new text tutorial! Example below-
Step 1: Open a new canvas on Pixlr editor.
Step 2: Type in your text in black. Make sure that your text is a large, bold one. Once that's done, duplicate the text layer.
Step 3: If you want to make things easier for you, then rename the duplicated layer to 'first layer' and the original layer to 'dotted layer'. [To rename layers, all you gotta do is double-click on the respective layer in the layer box].
Step 4: Now, come to the duplicated or 'first layer' and add the following layer styles [if your canvas is white, then you probably won't see this layer style coming into effect at first] -
Step 5: Come to the dotted layer and click on the 'Move' tool [the one that looks like a cursor]. Now, we're going to use the keyboard. On your keyboard, click on the left arrow button six times. On your canvas, you'll see the dotted layer moving as you press the button. After this, click on the down button seven times.
Step 6: Rasterize all the text layers.
Step 7: Make the colour in the colour palette white , and come to the dotted layer. Go to Edit - Select Pixels. You'll see that there are moving lines surrounding the dotted layer. Then, select 'Filters' in the top toolbar and click on 'Halftone'. Add the following settings, or play around with it if you want-
And there you have it! Hope you guys liked this tutorial! (:
