Chapter 3 - Can You Believe Josh?

.oO Andy's POV Oo.

I can't believe Vicki would say something like that! I don't love Josh! Why would she say that? He's just a friend. Barely that after what he did to me. But since he's in my boyfriends band, I had to learn to get along with him. I don't love the way his eyes sparkle when the light hits them right. Or the way he smiles when he doesn't even realize it. Or the fake laugh he does when I make some cheesy joke. I just hate it! I hate him! Why does he gave to be such a douche. A blue haired douche!

.oO Mike's POV Oo.

I brought Andy along with me to our band practice. It seems like she's been in a bad mood lately. I don't know what it is. Maybe it's just. Um. Female problems... I just hope it's not something I did or said. I don't think it is Though. It seems like she's only in a bad mood, when I bring up Josh. Or if Josh is around. Or really anything to do with Josh. Andy said they didn't end on the greatest terms. But when she's around him she acts like everything's okay. It's just really confusing for me. Girls...

Andy and I walked into Ian's garage. Matt, Ian, and Josh were already here. And there was a girl accompanying Josh. Seriously dude? Another girl? Josh was sitting tuning his guitar as the girl was talking to him asking stupid questions. And Josh was there being a big shot.

I haven't known Josh a long time but he seems like a player. Andy said he wasn't really a ladies man. But wow... What's this now? 5 girls in the past two weeks? He has a new girl every few days.

"Hey guys!" Andy said. Not even acknowledging the other girl on Josh's side. Maybe she just likes to be the only girl.

"Yo." Matt said.

"Sup." Ian said.

"Oh. Hi Andy. Mike." Okay. Josh has seriously gotta stop this. I tried to be nice to him. I'm a good bass player and he knows it. He just tries to come up with stupid excuses to try and 'let me go. And find a better fit for the band'. He's not nice to me, or my girlfriend. I'm just sick of it. He's got to stop.

"Mike. Sweetie. Are you okay?"

"Hmm? Oh. yeah."

"Okay. You just started to squeeze my hand really hard. I was worried."

"I'm fine. Really." I smiled at her.

"Mike, Andy. This is Kelly. Kelly this is Mike, and Andy." She smiled. It seems like these girls are almost like... Actresses. They just seem a little TO fake.

.oO Josh's POV Oo.

I spent the weekend with Mady. She's so nice! She's one of the only people I can hangout with, and not make me miss Andy. We went to the movies, we went to the park. We did so many things together. She's just so fun to hang around. She's not fake at all. But I know it was only a one week thing. She's going back to Toronto to live with her mom. She visited her dad this summer. I don't know what's going to happen between me and Mady. Maybe nothing. Maybe something. What I hope most, that Andy finally realizes that she misses me, and she comes back to me. My mom always used to say, whatever is meant to be, will always find a way to work itself out.

Honestly. I'm still confused. My mind has been racing with a million different thoughts since I got back. I feel like I just need to talk to someone, and they won't judge me, and they'll get what I'm saying. Two names popped in my head.

First. Andy. But I can't talk to her about any of this. Back then I would totally been blue to come to Andy with almost anything. Now, it's almost nothing.

The other name, Jared. I can talk to Jared. I ran to my desk looking for that piece of paper with Edgewood's number on it. Found it! I quickly dialled the number.
