I did this all day trying to avoid him at all cost. It didn't work at lunch though. He cut the whole entire lunch line to get to me. He even paid for my lunch! Now that's just creepy but sweet at the same time. Apparently he was adopted from the Blackwood family. The Blackwood family was closed off. They liked to keep to themselves. When I mean they kept to themselves, I literally mean it. They talked to nobody unless needed. Nobody even knew where they lived. Now that's freaky but nobody questioned in anymore. Mr. and Mrs. Blackwood couldn't have children of their own so they decided to adopted a lot.
"Hello"
I look up to see a red haired girl sit down next to me. Looking at her more precisely I could tell she was on some type of sports team with her athletic build. She had curves that could go on for miles but she didn't flaunt them like schools sluts.
"Hello" I finally replied back as I meet her green eyes."Mind if I join you? My friends seem to be a little late and I couldn't help but notice you sitting here all alone. How's your first day here? See any hot meat you like? Oh by the way I'm Katie".
Wow that was a warm greeting. "Umm I guess school will be school. Always boring. As for the "hot meat", no I don't see any yet.
"Well that's because you haven't meet me yet baby" a masculine voice came from my side. Jumping in my seat I look to my right and see two guys and two others girls that go to sit around the table. Well I thought to myself isn't this a warm welcome.

Finally arriving back home, I quickly parked my car. Reaching the front door it suddenly pulled open and my mother embraces me with a great big hug.
"Um mom. Why are you hugging me?" I asked greatly confused. Her behavior was unusual. She loosened her grip and stepped back. "Oops sorry, I'm just so excited. I wanna hear about your first day!"
"It was fine I guess", I said quickly walking past her to the staircase. "I'm going to finish my homework. Call me down when dinner is ready".
Now you must be thinking why I quickly dismissed my mother like that. It's not that I didn't love my mother, in fact I love my mother. It's just her and my dad never have time for me anymore. Whenever they want to talk to me it's on their time not mine. I remember back when they used to make time with me, now they are too busy with work to even spare me a second glance. I swear I could die or go to jail and they wouldn't even know until the next day.
"Knock knock"
My door creaks open as my mother pops her head in the doorway. "Honey I forgot to tell you something. The neighbors across the street invited us over for dinner. You might know their children, they go to the same school. They are the Blackwood family. Be dressed and ready by 6:00".Great just what I needed to hear. The Blackwood's are my neighbors. Ugh life can't get even worst. Now I have to see Angel and the rest of the creepy Blackwood family. The only good thing about this dinner is that everyone at school finally gets to know what their house looks like. I'm sure Katie won't be able to keep her mouth shut once I tell her about this.
Turning over to look at the clock I realize I only have 30 minutes to get ready. I quickly run to my closet. Ruffling through there for about a good 10 minutes I finally decided on a black loose flowing dress. Then I picked up my tan stilettos and quickly put them on. I rushed over to my vanity and put on some simple makeup that included eyeliner and lipgloss.
"Okay mom, I'm ready", I said as I bounded down the stairs towards the front door where my parents stood.
