Epilogue

Anthony's POV

"Dad!" My 4 year old son, Everly shouts from the couch.

"Yes son," I ask walking over to him and picking him up. "Have you seen my elephant from uncle John?"

"Um no but I'm sure that elephant didn't run away," I say making him laugh.

Everly hugs me and I place my hand on his back . His long dirty blonde hair poke my fingers and I say, "Do you want me to put your hair in a pony tail?"

He takes his arms off his my neck and nods. I gentaly set him on the floor and he runs over to the table.

I hear my large wooden front door open and close and my father yell,"I'm breaking into your house!"

"Grandpa," Everly yells as he jumps off the stool and runs over to my dad. He picks Everly up and hugs him.

"Hi dad," I say walking out of the kitchen. "Ok Everly... Why don't you go show me one of your favorite toys?" He says putting Everly down.

Everly shakes in joy and runs up the long staircase. "Do you want tea or something dad?" I say starting to walk back into the kitchen.

"Tea would be nice Tony," he says sitting at the table. I begin to boil some water and he says, " it's been 3 years ,you know?"

I plop the tea bag into the coffee cup and pour the boiled water into the cup.

I carfully carry the hot cups to the table and set them infront of each of our seats.

I sit on the corner next to him and say, "Ya i still feel horrible for kicking her out that night."

"Such a shame that she chose that way to leave the world," he says shaking his head.

"Grandpa ! I found it!" Everly say running over to the stool the my dad is sitting on.

"What is it Little Bear?" He says picking up Everly and setting him on his lap.

"Ta da!" Everly says pulling his plush elephant from underneath his shirt. "What is it," my dad say trying to boost Everly's confidence .

"It's my elephant from uncle John ! " he says hugging it tightly. "You found it ," I say proud of him.

He nods and begins to play with it . "Little Bear? Do you want an orange or something because me and grandpa need to talk?"

He looks up at me with his crazy face on and says," Ya !" He jumps off my dad's knee and runs over to the fridge.

I help him find something to eat and drink and he says,"can I go outside?" I sigh and say,"Stay close little bear."

He hugs my leg and runs outside. I stroll back to my dad and his is slowly sipping his tea.

"So what were we talking about?" I ask as I sit down . "Dani Over dosing the night you kicked her out," he says as I take a sip of my tea.

"Daddy!" Everly yells when he walks in. "Can Carter ,Destiny,Sunny and Jimi come over and play with me?" He says running up to me.

"Sure sunshine," I say putting my hand in his long hair. I stand up and call Mia ,Jessica, Flea,and John and ask them to bring there kids over and so I can talk to them.

"Little Bear? Clean yourself up cause we are going to the grave yard to see mommy."

He hugs me and says,"I want mommy back." I pick him up and he starts crying.

"I do too sweetheart ..." I say holding him tight while I hold back tears. I put him down and kneel down to his height .

"Go get ready and we can go for ice cream later," I say whipping some dirt off his pants.

He jumps in excitement and I yell ,"Dad? Will you help Everly while I get ready ?"

He slowly walks into the room and grabs onto Everly's hand. "Let's find you something sexy ," my dad says living Everly onto his hip.

I walk up into my room ,not far from Everly's , and begin to look around.

Images of Dani and I flood my mind and I walk over to one of my favorite pictures.

I lightly stroke as the frame as I focuse on the photo. Dani's sparkling blue eyes filled with love and care.

Tears fill my eyes as I remember that moment that I met her.

**flashback**

" Anthony," I say and kiss her hand. I l look up at her and give her a devilish smile.

"Dani . I am a big fan of you ."

I can tell she is really insucure but she is so beautiful.

" Thanks . It means alot coming from a beautiful.girl like you." I say falling more in love with her with every passing second.

**End Flashback**

Leave the photo and begin to get ready to fight the summer air in the grave yard.

I load my body with smell-goody stuff,as Dani used to call it,and there is a knock on my door.

"Dad," the voice from behind the door says. I walk over to the door and open it to my son who is looking better then usual.

"Are you ready," I ask him grabbing his hand . He nods and I walk out of my room.

"Thanks for the help Dad," I say before we all leave the house. "It not a problem son," he says patting my back as I step into the limo with all the other people .

"Carter!" Everly says sitting beside her. "Are you ok," I say asking Mia ,who is bawling her eyes out.

She nods and the ride was an accword silence. We reach the grave yard and all hop out off the limo.

We all stand around her grave and the children go and play . John places a flower down my starts bawling again.

"I miss her so much , " Mia says holding Cam tight. "Shhh... I do to babe," he says hugging he and stroking her head.

I look over my shoulder and see the children playing .

I feel bad for my son who has to grow up without a mother because I kicked her out.

I can't change our past but I can change our future ...
