Uncontrollable // Ed Sheeran

~ 18 ~

Ed's POV

I'd left Nina's appartement and started walking to my car. When I arrived at Nina's it was night time, and last time I left a woman saw me. Nina talked to me about and said that the woman recognized me but just thought I was a lookalike which I actually thought was quiet funny, but and wanted to avoid being seen this time. I put my hood up on my hoodie and looked around a little, nobody was there. I got into my car and looked up at Nina's window smiling before driving off.

I arrived at the hotel and went over to see Stu.

"Ed where have you been?"

"I told you, I was at Nina's and I'm going to stay there for a couple of days. I know what you think of her but you're not right. I'll bring her to meet you properly one day"

"I want you to be happy Ed you know that, but you can't get too carried away you have a tour to take care of. You need think of your fans."

"Stu I know but you said it yourself, the earliest date of continuing the tour will be in a month at the least. We'll sort out the dates, for once I just want to relax and try to live a normal life"

Stu went silent but gave a little sigh.

"I understand Ed, and I'll let you do what you want. Just promise me we'll get this sorted out during the week"

"I promise"

Stu knodded his head and walked away so I went up to my room to pick up some stuff. I picked up some clothes, my guitar and the essentials. I wanted to be as quick as I could because I wanted to get back to Nina. Every minute without her just felt empty.

I arrived back at Nina's and walked up the stairs. I was just about to open the door when I heard talking inside. Nina wasn't alone and she was with another guy. I started to worry and I started to image so many situations. I panicked that Nina was cheating on me but that didn't make any sense. I then thought of Harry, maybe she was talking to him again and maybe she was in trouble. I put my ear against the door before opening it.

"How did you find me?" I heard Nina say in a distressed voice, with a man laughing to everything she said. I quickly opened the door.

"Who are you and what are you doing here?" I said in an angry voice. The man just turned around and laughed. He reconized me, but the expression on his face didn't change. He had a smudge, evil look. Dark brown hair, wearing a denim jacket and DM's, almost the same style as Nina. He just laughed again.

"Well Nina looks like you've got yourself a celebrity bodyguard, impressive"

"Leave her alone" I said slamming the door behind me. I could tell that he was trouble and I didn't want him to hurt Nina.

"What are you going to do if I don't? Write a love song about me?"

I was about to punch him when Nina ran up and wrapped her arms around me and whispered into my ear "Leave it Ed he's not worth it". I looked down and her and kissed her on the forehead.

"Hands off Sheeran she's mine"

"Leave her alone Harry she doesn't want anything to do with you"

The man burst out laughing, still with an evil smurk on his face.

"I'm surprised you haven't talked about me Nina, you know, the good old times"

"Jack just leave. I don't want anything to do with you. You messed everything up for me. My life, my trust-"

"I gave you what you deserved. You were out of control and you needed me."

Jack then looked to me and smurked again, giving out a little chuckle.

"You're waisting your time mate, she's fucked up"

He then made his way out the door without saying another word. Nina went and walked over to the window and lit a cigarette.

"Nina what's going on?"

"I'm sorry Ed, I can't believe this is all happening. As soon as I'm happy again he come back and messes every thing up. This isn't fair in you, you have better things to be doing like working on your tour"

"Nina who is he? I want to stand by you and make you happy. We're going to work through this but you need to tell me what's going on. You can't keep your past a secret anymore"

I went over and put my arms round her, but she gently pushed me away.

"He's Jack. He's my ex"

Nina looked down and took another puff of her cigarette, shaking more and more.

"What did he do to you Nina?"

"It's complicated. Him and Harry, they were so controlling. I was no longer my own person. I was going through a hard time and I felt free hanging out with them. But they pushed everything to far and I ended up loosing my family. They moved away to Scotland and haven't spoken to me since. But Jack broke my trust. I thought he loved me but all he did was hurt me in every way possible. He raped me Ed, he destroyed every positive memory I had. I haven't been able to be with anyone since, before I met you. When they left I started to move on but I haven't been the same. I lost myself because of them and I'd only just found myself again"

I went silent, and I could feel the anger rising within me. How could he do that? How could he abuse Nina? Push her so far that she looses her family? It was him who made her panic so much when people touch her. But I stayed silent. I could tell that Nina was upset enough so I pulled her in and held her tight.

"We're going to sort this okay? I love you Nina"

"I love you too" she whispered.
