Chapter 8: Unexpected

HEY THERE GUAVACADOS!

Yes. I combined a guava and an avocado. It became the guavacado. So, yeah! Here's the chapter. ENJOY MY GUAVACADOS!!

~SKY'S POV~

As a giant creature picked up my best friend, I was horrified.

As he raised the stone, I tried to scream, but my throat wouldn't let me.

As something unexpected happened, I thanked god.

As this beast was about to smash the skull of deadlox, somebody flew through the air, knocking the stone into the giants head.

"ARTHREBEN, I TOLD YOU.

MY DOMAIN, MY MORTALS." The man stated, rather loudly.

"ARTHREBEN HAS NOT EATEN A MORTAL FOR 20 YEARS! HE WILL EAT ONE EVEN IF IT MEANS TO INVADE YOUR DOMAIN!" The beast yelled. The man, looked like he was from the eighteenth century. His whole look- from his clothing to his facial hair- looked like something from a history textbook. Something about him was off though, about how he looked. The ears. His ears were pointed at the tip, and longer than normal. It looks like- from a child's point of view- an elf. He drew a sword and flew through again, this time drawing blood from the ogres head. The ogre, who I assume is Arthreben, dropped Ty to the ground. Ty's face was as pail as a ghost. The man, who I thought flew through, turned out to be swinging from a vine.

Great.

This all just makes SO much freaking sense.

(Note the sarcasm)

The man, who was at the top of a tree, hollered "FOR AZIKAR, AND THE REIGN OF THE QUEEN"

And he swung down a final time from his vine and flew toward the ogre at immense speed. He knocked Arthreben to the ground and stood on top of him with his foot on his throat, appearing to be closing his windpipe. Without a second lost he turned and thrusted the sword into the ogres chest. I was a little mortified at first, but then I remember...

He was about to eat Ty.

The man stepped off of the dead beast and started walking towards Ty. I thought back to what he yelled at Arthreben, 'my domain, my mortals' and if that mean, we belong to him...

~TY'S POV~

I can't say I like this place...

But I can't say I hate it either...

The whole essence of this place,

It's, it's, magical.

I know it sounds corny, but I feel different here. I feel, like I belong.

It's different then from our world.

Where almost everywhere I felt that I was never supposed to be there.

My thoughts were interrupted by a horrible slicing sound, followed by a low grumble and a squeak. Then i heard a sound, that sounded like a drum being kicked, accept metallic, and loud! I was wondering, WHAT THE HELL MAKES THAT SOUND?!

That is the sound of death, Dedreson.

Who is talking to me in my head?!

It sounds like a girls voice, but I couldn't be sure...

Don't question your saviours Dedreson, it will do you know good! If Ara hear's this, she will be sure you are burned alive!

Who is this! MAKE IT STOP!

*silence*

They must have left, but who's sure they won't be back...

The man who killed the beast approached me.

"My name is Arthreben." He said

Wasn't he calling the ogre Arthreben?

"Wasn't the thing you killed named Arthreben?" I asked

"Well Dedreson, that is how things work here. You kill them, you get there name. Arthreben happens to be a name of great honour. It was my fathers name." He said

"That monster killed your father?!"

Said Adam.

"No, my father was picked up by a Grenoriol Eagle, that ogre later ate that eagle." Arthreben explained.

Grenoriol Eagle? That's not even a real bird!

Don't judge too soon, Dedreson...

What! No, not YOU again!

You will have to accept me soon,

or it may lead to your demise...

Okay STAHP IT!!

Get out of my head!!

Be quiet! Ara might hear you!

Who's Ara?

Ara is... There's no time to tell you now! I believe you shall learn about her soon enough, but you better hope to the gods that you don't meet Fire. That girl may seem innocent, but she will kill you in the blink of an eye.

Fire? Who's Fire? If she's just a girl than she can't hurt me too bad...

THOSE WORDS BETTER NOT LEAVE YOUR MOUTH AGAIN...

Or your friend will be mourning your death mere seconds after you speak those words...

Is everyone in this weird place out to kill me?! If so, which way home?!

*sigh*

Dedreson, you are safe here.

So long as you don't speak down of Fire.

OKAY!! So there's the chapter!! Sorry if you didn't like it, but the action is just around the corner... ;)

And for those kind readers of you who were wondering, my surgery went fine and I have stitches in my face...

It's rather scary looking, but one of the best doctors in my city did it, so it should look less scary in a month...

Anyways, I am letting you decide the fate of this story!!! Leave in the comments if Ty or Adam should meet a girl! Simply answer something like:

"Ty should meet a girl!! :D"

"Adam should meet a girl, but not Ty"

"Both of them should meet a girl!! MAKE THEM HAVE BABIES!!! >:D "

"No, they shall be forever alone."
