Chapter 13: Which way?

~SKY'S POV~

As we turned to Fire and began following her, I noticed she forgot something.

SHE FORGOT THE F**KING BUSH ON FIRE!!!!!!

"FIRE!!" I yelled

"What?" She responded

"No, I think he meant that one!" Ty spoke up, pointed to the flaming bush and trees.

"What? It's doing no harm." She said nonchalantly.

Suddenly, I heard something yelling, and it sounded like it was coming near us.

Fire pulled the machete knife out of her boot again, and back up slightly.

Her eyes lit up, dancing with fire yet again, shortly followed by her hair, igniting in bright reds and oranges, and burning high above her head. I noticed, there was heat coming from it. She was literally on fire. Odd...

"Get behind me. Now." She ordered.

I didn't hesitate, and neither did Ty.

After learning what's in this jungle, it's best to just hide behind her.

Suddenly, the footsteps became louder, and through the bushes about 15 feet away, bursted a guy.

An actual human guy!!

He looked about my age, had brown hair, a big nose...

And looked exactly like fluffy.

WAHT?!?! FLUFFY IS HERE TOO?!??!

YES!!!!!!

"Fluffy!!!" I yelled, running toward him. Fire grabbed me by the shirt, probably burning it.

"What's wrong with you?! Don't just run at it!! See if its gonna put up a fight first." She said, pushing me back behind her.

"No, I know him! He's my friend!!" I reasoned.

"I've never seen you before in my life!" Countered the guy who I thought was fluffy.

"Jerome? It's me! Adam!" I tried again. "Ty's here too!"

"I said I don't know you!" He said.

He raised his hand,

"I came to put out the forest fire, and, OH MY GOD YOUR ON FIRE!!" He said, pointing at Fire.

He ran towards her with his bucket of water, and once only 8 feet away he through the water at her. Wait,

WON'T THIS KILL HER?!??!!!

Just as I was about to push her aside, some jumped from he tree we were near, and infront of Fire, him getting soaked instead of her.

"JEROMIAH!! WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU!!" The wet guy yelled at the guy who looked like Jerome, who's name was apparently Jeromiah...

Weird...

"JORDAN!! KNOCK IT OFF!!! SHE IS ON FIRE!!" Yelled Jeromiah.

I looked at the wet guy...

It was Jordan! And Jeromiah even called him that! It's like this place, is some sort of twisted version of our world...

Jordan stepped forward and shook like a dog, trying to dry himself.

~TY'S POV~

"Thanks." Fire said awkwardly.

Then, I noticed something I thought I'd never see.

Fire had her head tilted to the ground to hide it, but she was blushing.

She's just like a regular teenage girl.
