Chapter 12: The Socifiery

Hey guys! Here's a new chapter!

Sorry it took SOOOO long, every time I re-wrote the chapter, it was deleted.

So sorry if it sucks.

Anyways, here you go my guavacados!

~FIRE'S POV~

I heard a snap in the bush to my left, so I spun on my heel and roasted it to ashes. Then, a louder snap in the bush behind me, so I spun and gave this one a good burn. I heard a third snap but I was still burning the second bush, so there was nothing I could do.

I heard leaves rustle so I snapped my head back, leaving the second bush burning. I saw a look of pure terror on the boys faces, and if I were mortal, I'd be scared too.

Naziks.

The creature has ragged, scaly skin, the colour of dirt. 3 razor sharp horns, lining its forehead. 5 inch claws, that can cut through steel. Even though Naziks are only the size of a large dog, they're terrifying to everyone.

Everyone other than me.

They breath fire, which duh, doesn't scare me in the least bit. Oddly enough, Naziks aren't fireproof.

Ha, the noobs of this realm, I call it.

I watched the Nazik jump out of the bush, lunging at the tasty mortals...

WHAT! No, not tasty!

Gotta stop doing that...

I leaped forward, colliding my hand with its throat, pinning it to the ground. I reached to my boot and removed the Grysling blade.

~SKY'S POV~

Fire pulled a knife from her boot. She looked like she was about to kill it, but hesitated. The animal, or creature, whatever it is, made a strange noise.

Kind of like nails on a chalkboard.

It was so awful, Ty and I covered our ears. Fire put her blade to the middle horn on the creatures head, the largest one. The creature swung its head back, it's horn hitting a rock, crushing it. Fire grabbed the thing by the left horn and cut through the base of the middle horn.

A strange looking green goo spilled out.

Disgusting.

Fire snapped her head toward us.

"Give me a container. Hurry!" She demanded. For whatever reason, I didn't hesitate. I grabbed the bag off of Ty's shoulder and unzipped it.

Ty grabbed a water bottle and quickly emptied it. I tossed it at Fire, and she caught it. She bottled the green goo, without letting it touch her skin.

She capped the bottle and set it on the ground. She drew a circle around it with the horn she cut off. The green stuff glowed and then turned a deep blue. Creepy.

She chucked the 12 inch horn a few feet away, and turned her attention back to the creature. She made a disturbing sound. Kind of like nails on a chalk board, but also like bells. I don't know how it's possible for that noise to come from a human being, but somehow it happened. I try not to question the girl who summons fire. That's not a persons bad side you wanna be on.

She took the knife in her free hand, and pressed the very tip onto the beasts throat, just barely touching it, yet drawing blood.

~TY'S POV~

I could tell by the look on Fire's face that she didn't want to kill the animal. After she was about to kill it, giving its neck a little poke with the knife, she stopped. She looked toward us.

"Rope. Now." She sounded kinda sad, but I didn't hesitate. I dug through the bag and pulled out one of the ropes and tossed it to her. She cut 4 small strips of rope, and tied each around the creatures feet. She then got up and grabbed the horn and the bottle of magical crap or whatever and started to walk away.

"Come on, this way." She said.

I glanced back at the creature, who wasn't getting up.

"What did you do to that thing?" I asked.

"First, it is not a thing, it is a Nazik.

I tied a separate rope around all of its ankles. It won't make him trip or anything, but it makes them walk slower. And the horn I cut, I needed a weapon, and the extremely rare socifiery, the liquid inside. I needed some. If brewed right, it can do anything. A main ingredient in potions." She explained.

Potions?

I gave Adam a look, which he returned.

With those monsters, a-and potions, and weapons...

This place...

It reminds me of minecraft.
