Chapter 2 Red like Ice???

Ruby's POV

Floating over the scene of the battle with Salem that took the lives of thousands seemed unreal. The Dark power flowed into the North west as Salem's form dissolved. 

My vision switched to a small village that was in shambles the air smelled of burnt wood. The ash that the wood burning resulted in was abnormal in placement weird lines were made in the dust. 

My floating figure looked down on the symbol it was of a moon the pieces scattering like leaves in the wind. The symbol filled me with terror. 

"Beware what is to come." A soft voice that I recognized forced my figure to turn around. The deep black of her hair made her look like a panther and her yellow eyes flashed with mischievousness. Blake my fallen comrade stood behind me.

"Blake...I.." She shushed me by putting her hand on my lips.

"Don't worry about me I am here to help you. A new evil has been born into this world as Salem's power found a new host and it has evolved. You will decide the outcome of Remnant's history. Be it total destruction or peace. I cannot tell you how or what to do. I was forbidden by everyone where I am to not tell you. I am sorry." Her form began to flicker as I reached and grabbed her hand.

She gasped in surprise before hugging me. " Omega, Yang and your mom are cheering you on Ruby." Her form then shifted out of existence as if she was never there.

I jumped awake gripping my deep crimson sheets as I awoke. My body was covered in sweat. My left arm was covered in the deep golden orange of the power of the summer maiden and my right arm was covered in the deep green of the spring maiden. This power was telling me that it wasn't a dream but a vision of what is to come. 

The scroll rang seconds later the voicemail showing it was from the Schnee Dust company. Weiss..

Picking up my  scroll I answered her call by tapping the accept call button. "Hello?" I said into the scroll as the familiar sound of Weiss's voice came through.

"Ruby did you dream the same thing I did?" It was clear in her voice that her Winter maiden power was active as it was when we had a vision. 

"What did you see?" I asked picking at my cotton pajama top as I did when I was nervous the Rose was in the center the symbol of my family. 

She proceeded to tell me the events that happened in her dream. It was shown to her the exact same way. Except Blake had told her to beware things to come and to help me save Remnant.

"Yes we had the same vision. When she would meet to discuss this?" I ask getting out of bed. I would not be getting anymore sleep tonight. 

"I am already on my way as we speak. The sounds of a small engine revving could be heard in the background. She was started up her motorcycle one that was similar to Yang's except it had a white tint to it and had her emblem in precious gems in it. One half was made of gold and the other was made of sapphire.

"When will you arrive?" I grab a glass from my kitchen placing it on the table grabbing the jug of milk inside the fridge and pouring a glass before putting the milk back inside the fridge. I took a sip as she answered.

"Expect me in the next two days." The sound of the motorcycle revved louder as it was going at a high speed. 

"Ok see you then be careful Weiss." I hang up my scroll as she says bye and I set at the kitchen table alone reliving nightmares in my head as I thought on this latest vision.

"This is going to be a long tedious job." I sigh as my head begins to pound. I expected nothing less.
