Ruby's POV
Shadowy wisps fill the air as the walk through the dark forest of Forever fall to find the graves of my family and Blake. The world seems to lay in on itself the darkness consuming the paths to the side of the path I am on.
The shadows lay waste to the paths causing me to be disoriented and I make it to the graves earlier than expected like I moved forward in time. The sight terrified me to no end. The graves were shaking as hands came from the earth trying to grave me.
I felt myself screaming as I woke up to Weiss in the same room patting my head. I had let her stay in the guest bedroom and I must have woke her up.
I rubbed my eyes and yawned "Did..ahhh... Did I wake you Weiss?" I asked as she continued to comfort me.
"You were screaming your head off in your sleep must have been quite the nightmare." Weiss's blue eyes held sympathy as she seemed troubled as well.
"What's wrong Weiss?" My eyes must of held tears as I felt the wetness of them on my face.
"You didn't feel it?" Weiss's eyes searched mine as if trying to grave strength from my own. I shook my head.
"The dead seem to have risen on this dark night." Weiss's eyes seemed to glaze over as her power was evident in the air. Winter had the power to be able to sense the wrong in things that should naturally be cold.Spring warned of potential power struggles that could shake the boundaries of the current world.
As Summer had the power to warn of great threats that don't impose on Winter or Springs purpose. Fall is one I am not aware of on its sensing. However I must figure out what she meant.
"Who?" That one simple word was hard to say. Anyone coming back from the dead is a very bad thing.
"Your family and Blake." Weiss had silver tears flowing from her eyes as her power started to cause her pain. These tears blended in with her nightgown. Her eyes turned to pure silver. This was bad she was starting to overload on power. I had to stop it.
"Weiss stop now!" I had to tap into the power of Spring to be able to stop her from killing herself by accident with the Winter power. She placed her head on my shoulder as she sobbed into it. The pain had to be the worse she has ever experienced.
I started to pat her back as she started to hiccup and soon calm down. She lifted her head from my shoulder her eyes were a deep red and instead of silver tears. Blood started to flow from the tear ducts.
"Weiss!" I began to get up but she forced me back on the bed. "I am going to be ok Ruby. It will eventually heal." Weiss wiped the bloody tears on her hand a deep crimson stain on her otherwise porcelain skin. Her face however was covered in blood and I assume my shoulder was also.
"Weiss what caused your power to surge that dangerously?" I asked as she turned her head to the side. Trying to face away to hide the terror and shame.
"They are close." She had a fearful tremor in her voice. "Who?" I asked even though the answer was in front of my face.
"Your family and Blake." With those words her eyes rolled into the back of my head. At least she was on the bed. Now I have to put them back to rest.
