Ruby's POV
It has been two days since the vision of the coming darkness. I sat at the deep dark oak awaiting the knock with fresh food made on the table that would tell me Weiss had arrived.
The knock at the door was expected she loved to be on time. Standing my crimson cotton sweatpants brushed against my thigh sending a soft shiver through me as it tickled my thigh. The deep black cotton tee-shirt was snug against my chest.
Opening the door Weiss stood in a deep snow white motorcycle outfit that fit snuggly on her body. Her hair was disheveled as the helmet obviously had recently been taken off her hair. Her blue eyes flashed as she glanced into my home. It was riddled with knick knacks and various objects that reminded me of the fight.
Memorabilia was sold with my and Weiss's face on it to recognize us as heroes not matter how many times we tried to get them to put the matter down like a grimm they refused saying the feed was already live around Remnant.
Weiss's company boomed from this but she still was not happy for which she got it.
"May I come in Ruby?" I raised a eyebrow as she asked this question she stood like her sister did in the military many years ago.
"Your sister isn't behind you is she?" I shook remembering the last time we meet it had not been pretty.
"Heavens no Ruby I would not bring her here." She smiled as she entered not even awaiting the reply to say if she could come in.
"Would you like anything to drink Weiss?" I asked already reaching for a clean glass from above sink and grabbed some ice from the freezer to keep the drink she wanted cold.
"Yes Do you have any cola?" Her eyes lit up like Blake's did when there was fish around. Weiss recently discovered cola and it was like a drug to her. She didn't want to drink anything else.
I reached into the fridge grabbing the cola bottle and twisting the top off. I poured the cola on top the ice a hissing sound came from it as the cola entered the glass.
Walking toward the seat across Weiss I sat down her drink as she began to sip it.
"So Weiss what are we going to do about this?" I asked careful to make sure no ears could be eavesdropping.
"Well I am going to help you take down the threat. Also we need to find the Fall maiden from what it seems to be able to defeat the new threat from the vision. The issue is she doesn't want to be found since the death of her best friend. Lie Rien." Weiss started setting the drink down letting the moment set in.
"Ah hell..." I swore under my breath.
