PS. GOD BLESS THE PERSON WHO MADE THIS GIF. I OFFICIALLY LOVE YOU FOR THIS!
For the first time during my working career as a waitress, I woke up early and I was ready to go to work on time. This is the time where I question myself about if I'm okay, because this never happens. But yesterday was so hard on me, I had the toughest day. I kissed Harry, I called Adam and both of the things landed me in the deep ocean of emotions, the one place I hate to visit.
I sigh to myself and think about walking to work but that's when it hit me, I had called Adele last night and asked her to pick me up. Of course, I made stupid decisions last night. I roll my eyes and get out of the house, locking the door and walking to Addison's place. I knock twice at her door and she beams when she sees me. I smile back at her.
"Morning.", I greet her as she wraps her hands around me.
I almost laugh to myself and get into her house and sigh when I see how different and clean it is from mine. I look around, "Cody left already?"
"Oh yeah, I just got back after dropping him off to school.", she smiles and walks to the kitchen, "Coffee?"
I nod, "Sure."
Addison keeps smiling at me from time to time and I had this feeling that I might regret walking in here; she gets back to the couch and places the cups over the table, "How are you?"
I shrug, "I'm alright, I guess."
Addison is like my mother here. But one thing that's different is that she's the good understanding mother while my real Mom back home is the over protective one.
Addison furrows her brows, "Is everything okay, Rebecca?"
I shake my head, trying to hold myself together, "Everything is so complicated."
Addison has this beautiful calm smile over her face as she picks the cup and sips her coffee, "Is it about Harry?"
My eyes widened and I gulp. How does she know him? Oh my god...
I lick my lips, running my hand through my hair, "Kind of."
Addison nods, "I figured. I met him the other day; he seems like a good guy."
Really? No.
I let out a laugh, "Oh, Addy. He's way different than that."
"What is bothering you so much?"
I let out a sigh and look around, not wanting to explain myself while I stared at those eyes. I can't let people know things if they're literally staring me in the eye, "I called Adam last night."
Addison gasps, she knows about him. She knows a lot about my life than anyone, probably as much as Adele does. But then again, Adele knows the truth about Harry and she doesn't.
She shakes her head, "Why would you? Leave the guy alone, Rebecca."
I look at her with a sad look plastered to my face, "He's moved on."
Addison furrows her brows and keeps a hand over her mouth, "I'm so sorry, baby."
"But he had too. You can't wait for someone all your life. Can you?", she adds, "Also, I'm pretty sure you've moved on too, haven't you?", she questions me raising her brows.
