After all the mess at the diner, a terribly tiring day I walk back home, early. I skipped the late night duty and asked Adele to fill in, she obviously agreed. I had too many thoughts of my own right now and I didn't want Harry or anyone around me while I argued with myself over them. I could see everyone's house lightening up on the way home since it was getting dark. I wish I could light something in me too, just to get rid of the darkness that resides in me sometimes, like today.
I entered the apartment, checking the mailbox. I never get any mails but I still check, there are always some exceptions and I'm hoping that one day I might just get a mail. I shake my head to myself, because I wasn't even making sense right now. I started climbing the stairs, Addison was walking down the stairs and she waves at me, I nod, "Hey.", I said.
Addison furrows her brows and folds her arms across her chest, "Please tell me that Tom wasn't right about Harry."
My heart skipped a beat; people have started talking about us? Wow.
"What did Tom say?", I asked Addison.
Addison raised a brow, "Harry didn't tell you? Oh, you know, he just kept chanting the same words that he's no good for you and that you're a good soul.", she paused for a while, "Not that you're not, you're awesome but I personally like Harry too."
I gulped, the thought of him already knowing this makes it so much worse. He has kept this in since I don't know how long. People have been judging him without actually knowing that I'm at my best when I am with him. He's already doesn't think too high of himself and now here's people like Tom assuring him that he's not.
Oh, my Harry.
"What did he say about this?", I further asked.
Addison shrugged, "He just laughed it away."
My heart feels pounded and I just want to call Harry and tell him to come over and when he does, I just want to kiss every inch of his face and remind him what he is to me. He's everything to me; he's the best thing that has happened to me. It might have started in a terrible way but it was meant to be, when you actually put everything together you realise that that's how it was supposed to be. That's how we were meant to meet each other...
"You okay?", I was cut off by Addison's voice.
I nodded, "I'll see you around.", I started to walk towards my house.
Unlocking the door, I could still only think of him. How sometimes the start of some relations is pathetic but if you give it a chance they might be the only beautiful thing in your life. Sometimes, you don't even need to give it a chance because no matter how much you run away they come chasing after you, they're always around.
I'm so grateful for that fight that broke down at the diner and where it got us is unbelievable. I keep away the keys, my phone over the island in my kitchen and lay down over the couch. My thoughts are making me tired...
I could hear someone knocking my door, over and over again. The bell is ringing and that's when I instantly get off the couch. I don't know when I slept but it refreshed me so much, I was able to stop every thought in my head for that little while. I open the door and my eyes almost widened,
