Tell Her

One day she'll ask you about a girl before her. She'll get curious how it started, the in-between, and how it ended up. She'll think of the why's and how's that you both ended up that way. She'll start to compare herself to her, and realize how different and how the same they are. She'll get confuse. She'll start to doubt. She'll get insecure of her and how everything around the two of you seems to remind of her. She might get hurt of knowing that you still had a way to communicate with her. She'll cry thinking that she's just like her and all the other girls you had. She'll wonder if you think of her when you're together. She'll freak out. She'll get jealous how she knows you better than her.

That's when you remind her why it's her now and not the other one. Make her feel that she matters to you more than any girl you had. Treat her how you never had with the others. Prove to her that she's the exception the other girls could never be. Keep up with her moods and make her understand that she's the present and you're hopefully future. Show her the things you found in her that made her different in your eyes. Explain to her that all of them are just part of your past, nothing more, nothing less.

And when she starts to break away, cage her in your arms and never let go. Hold on to her tightly, like how you never did with the others. Whisper to her how much you love her. Tell her how it's she, now, that you love and not her, never her.

Tell her the words I never had the chance to hear from you. Just tell her.
