The question I want to ask, "Would you?"

But before it could slip my mouth, I buried it deep in my mind.

How it all came in a flash, back to the time when I still think that you are mine.

Has there been a time where I have your attention?

Like you always have my love and not just a pretention?

Have you ever thought of the memories from long ago?

Of course, you'd say yes and feign it was not a no.

Have you ever wake up in the morning with my name on your lips?

Did you ever remember the days we spend together in bliss?

Was there something that you saw and suddenly you think of me?

But it was all before, I've come to the conclusion that what we had could never be.

So here is what I will tell to you, "You don't have to."

Save your saliva, stop wasting my time and keep all the promises you could never do.
