I wake up to see Ashton parked in front of the security camera on my laptop. "Hey" i notice the chocolate milk and donuts. "Mm you bought donuts" i sit down next to him grabbing a vanilla filled donuts. "Yeah i went out and bought those deciding we can stay here for a while and watch." I nod biting into the donuts. Moaning as the sweet flavors burst in my mouth. "Mm this is so damn good!" He laughs. After I've finished my donuts i lay back on the couch for a minute looking at the ceiling. "Look this is soo boring i actually think my brain is gonna rot before i die" he laughs at that and turns to face me. "what changed your mind?" I think before i respond wording my answers carefully " my mom is the one who ran away and obviously doesn't want to be found. So I've got to wait for her to come to me or else i will sit here all my life waiting for that one moment when she'll turn around and i would get to see her face and run out and see her." He nods thoughtfully. "Yeah but you love her and i will help you find her" i sigh deeply. "What.. What if i don't want to find her?" I stutter. He looks at me with confusion. "Lets just say i had something really bad and everyone in the town including my mom blamed me. Would you want to face her?" He rubs his chin thoughtfully. "I would because if i didn't i would hate myself if anything happened to her." I sigh and nod. "Yeah" i miss her. The realization made me make a small muffled gasp. "What?" Ideas spin in my head. And a gut feeling makes me know where she is. "Follow me" i get up grabbing a donuts on the way out the door, Ashton close on my heels "where are we going?!" i hurry into his truck getting in the driver seat. "keys?" i hold out my hand for them. "no one drives my baby" i grit my teeth "give me the damn keys or i will hot wire your car." he looks terrified and hands them over. I put the key in the ignition and drive off towards a private spot on Coronado beach.
I pull up on Coronado beach the private island owned by someone named stony creek. Yes i know weird name, but that's beside the point. I hurry along the waters edge till we get to where this woman i don't recognize with brown red hair that looks dyed. She's wearing a flowery skirt and flipflops facing the water. "oh um.. sorry i just thought you were someone else." i hear Ashtons disappointing sigh. i walk away slowly looking down at the ground. "wait"" i stop in my tracks as i hear the melodic sound of a familiar voice. Though i can't say where i know her from. "i am here looking for a woman short light brown hair, in her forty's, and a little bit crazy, You seen her ma'am?" "she doesn't say anything as Ashton grunts at me clearly wanting to leave this woman who is sentenced to silence. "well you know, I've got to run." i say sadly so sure my mother was gonna be here. Guess not. then again my gut feeling has always been wrong. the woman turns around. she has soft face features sorta like my moms. She's a few inches shorter then my 6'2 height yes i know i am tall for the age of twenty-two but i can't help it. she had wrinkle lines on her forehead and the sun glints off her dyed red hair as if her hair was a fire. "you found me my dear, i always knew you would find me." i am pretty sure my mouth drops to ground because Ashton nudges me. Disapproval is clear in her brown green eyes, similar to the one my mother wear. I try not to let her know that disapproval is in her eyes. "mom y-you still blame me" is all i can manage. my throat is suddenly dry and i can barley breath.
