I struggle as I lift Razack onto my back, his breathing was becoming shallow. I turn my head at the two dark wolves. Nights tail was swaying back and forth not breaking her stare from Nazari. Nazari was just as equally scary as Night which I think it's a Assassin thing. I Take one last glance at them as I run back to the camp.
I get into the camp territory "please someone help me!" I yell. I look around and see a white wolf walking fast towards me "Luna please help, can you help him?" I say in a concerned voice. "I'll see what I can do" she says as two huge wolves lift Razack on their shoulders and walk to the medical den. Sadness overwhelms me and sudden anger enters my heart. "Warriors!" I growl. "There is an intruder on our territory we have to stop them." I growl they all growl as a response and nods in approval. I growl and lunch myself in the direction of Nazari and Night.
Nights POV
Blood dripped down my mouth as I breath hard. My confidence got the better of me I think to myself. I look at Nazari as she is hunched over her fur standing on end. Her side was bleeding and she was in bad condition. She chuckles "if I get back and Razack is dead, you better watch your back." I grin at her remark "who says you will live" I smirk. She growls "I will survive and I will kill you!" She says as she launched herself at me. We fight teeth ripping and claws tearing. I hit her hard on the snout and she returns the blow. I growl as my vision blurred I look around and see dark shapes forming around me. Alright, I think to myself I need help. "Day" I growl "it's time to put your skills to the test." I look over and see Day come out of her hiding place. She walks next to me "what do I do?" She whispers. "Just give me some time to recover" I breath. She nods and turns her attention to Nazari. A unnatural laugh comes from Nazari "making your apprentice do the hard work?" She laughs. I growl at her words. "Day you can kill her if you get the chance" I growl. Day slowly walking side to side waiting for an attack.
DAY POV
I walk side to side not breaking eye contact. I stay in front of Night and watch Nazari growling. She took a step forward and stumbled on her own paw. I walk to her and put my paw on her neck. "Do it" I hear Night say. I breath in when suddenly catching the scent of Ember and group of wolves. "Night the pack is coming." I yell. "Finish her and we will run!" She yells back. I glance at Nazari and lean down. "Pretend like you are dead" I whisper. She does so "she is already dead" I yell "ok let's go" Night says and I run to her. We run and run until we get out of the Flame Kingdom.
Embers POV
I arrive at the site where Nazari was laying on her side. "Hey Nazari" I say nudging her face. She moans and pushes her paw on my side pushing me away "I won't stoop that low to get help from others" she growls. "You need to stop being so prideful." I growl at her "The enemy got away follow the scent and kill them" I growl the commands. They all ran except a few who helped me carry Nazari back to camp. We walked to the medical den and laid her down. I walk over to Razack, the medical wolf was leaning over him trying to hear him talk. "He wants to talk to you." She says I lean down to hear him talk "I want you to choose who will take my place" he gasps "why, you are not going to die" I say sternly. He chuckles and his eyes start to drift close. "No don't leave me." I say as tears start rolling down my face. I slowly nudge his face and saw the lifeless look in his eyes. I lower my ears and continue crying. The world seemed to grow dim and the sun started setting. The old wolf was buried by his mentors grave. I sit there till midnight waiting for the patrol to return. Finally they came "did you find them?" I ask "sorry beta they already crossed their border when we reached it. The black wolf was severely injured though." I nod. "Where is Dax?" I asked the warrior. "He is in the sleeping den." "Thank you" I say with a nod. I walk in the den and see the white Warrior sleeping on a pile of grass. "Dax, I have news for you." He bolts upward "aye aye sir!" I hold in a laugh and keep a straight face. "General Razack has given you the position of lead Warrior." His eyes go wide "me the lead Warrior? This is a super big privilege." I smile "congrats" I say as I leave. I walk to my den and lay my body down. "This was a horrible day" I say to myself before drifting to sleep.
