My Grandma Is A Demigod

II: Why Do I Even Try?

All I can do is stare at my grandma. She just told me that her mother is Athena! Ha, ya right! But really, I think something might be wrong with her... My grandma... well she has always been very reasonable, but not because her mother is Athena! No. She is just a lady, but now she is suddenly acting weird. I'm worried about her.

Before I can ask anything, my grandma disappears right when the principle walks into our lovely, just oh so lovely disaster scene. I look around me, noticing that things got nocked over, and a crater was formed in the ground from the passed beast's strength.

"WHAT is going on here Ms. Monti?!" The principle asks me in a shocked voice. I had always been a goody-two-shoes, but now, I can't even begin to understand how she must feel now about me since she didn't see what ACTUALLY happened. As Ms. Watson runs inside the school building I mutter to myself, "I think that's the question I should be asking..."

I don't really know what to do (because this has NEVER happened to ME BEFORE?!), so I just follow the police to their office or whatever.

All I can do is sit and be stunned. No questions like "what is happening" or "what will my parents think" crossed my mind. I am stunned, shocked, and for some reason I don't feel real. Almost abnormal. I can't describe it or what happened.

My head had been wrapped in a bandage from the scar I put there when I fell. Stupid heels, I think to myself with a weak smile. Worse fashion fail EVER! I start giggling. I can't help it. After all I've been through... I just find it funny! Welp, and other things too but.... Hehe

The police man finally sat down with me, probably looking for answers of what happened. He will find none.
"I didn't do it officer! Honest," I tell him. The police man still looks unimpressed. Still thinks I'm lying, huh. Well then.

I get up out of my chair and start to walk away, but Jacob runs in front of me. "I know you did not do it," Jacob says. I don't think he was talking to me though. The officer raises an eyebrow and Jacob glances a look at me and mouths sorry. I nod, but I thought he had meant sorry for getting me into THIS mess! My parents come in and I groaned. Though all they did was say, "I know she did not do it."

Then came my g-grandma...
She said, "I did it." I just gaped at her. She was dressed in battle armor and her grey hair had streaks of blonde. In one hand, my grandma held a spear. In the other was a shield.

The police officer scrambled out of his chair and ran out of the room, shocked and surprised. All my grandma did was laugh. "WHA-!" I started. "Answers NOW!" I yell at all of them, even though they basically saved me.

"No. Answers later, dear. Now we run," my grandma told me in a calm voice.
