Grandma's P.O.V.-
On my last day, I decided to visit an old friend. Jacob greeted me with a nervous smile. "I need your help," I say.
Jacob nods, "We have been through a lot together. I hope I can help you again. After all, I will always be young and immortal." Even though it was an accident that he became immortal, young forever, Jacob acts like it was a purposely incident and therefore, he is proud.
A potion had spilled on him and turned him young forever. During our quest, magic was a big part. Unlike this quest, where logic plays a very important role.
"I need you to do whatever it takes to protect Caleigh," I demanded. Jacob obviously saw this coming. He knew me... And my son, then his daughter; my granddaughter.
Jacob nodded, but said, "You know there isn't much I can do. I can't go on the quest."
I knew that. We knew that. Though, there has to be something! Caleigh is going to get hurt, too! Not just the others, but especially her.
I trudge back to my bed in the Athena Cabin. I always get the biggest bed in the room because I'm the oldest. One of the oldest known demigod. Though, it doesn't help...
I know this quest will be the last. Of me. I just hope I go correctly. A hero's death.
Natalie's P.O.V.
My last day was spent working. I needed to make sure we had everything ready for the quest.I went to the tool shop and saw Haley. "Hey," I grumble to her. I never really liked anyone. Don't judge me. (And if you do-I don't care)
Haley nods at me and we go about our business. She was sharpening tools when she spoke up, "So, what do you think about this.... This quest?"
I just shrug. "I don't really know what to think. You know?" I say to her.
"Well, I guess... I mean I've heard of the prophecy..." Haley starts.
We sit in silence for a few minutes. The conversation was obviously over.
I got some tools ready and headed to my cabin. "Hey Dylan!" I yell to my long time friend.
We came here together at the age of two. Even though we are descendants from a minor goddess, the trouble started quick for us.
Three teenagers from Camp Half-Blood rescued us, two dying along the way. Apparently, the trouble wasn't us. It was them.
The only boy died a bit later on after bringing us to camp. Some disease... No cure.
"Hey Nat," Dylan responds. He knows that I won't converse the quest right now, so he picks a different subject.
"I got some berries today. Sneaked them from the Aphrodite Cabin." He whispers from me.
"Ha. That's too easy! All the kids there are to caught up in themselves that they don't notice anything!" I say.
We break into a nonstop laughing. When we stopped, I smiled at him and told him I had to go.
Gotta get ready.
