They have been driving for 2 hours now. Auggie is still screaming.
"Let me out!" he screams repeatedly.
Auggie reaches his hand up to the front seat, and tries to unlock the door. Then as fast as the speed of light, Farkle pulls a knife out of his pocket, and cuts Auggie straight down his arm.
"Sit down and be quiet, or I will do worse things to you." Farkle says, with an evil look in his eye.
Auggie weeps silently. He doesn't understand what he did to deserve this.
He is truly terrified of what may happen to him. He starts to think about his future, his hopes and dreams.
He wanted to be a painter, and paint beautiful and elaborate paintings like his sisters' best friend, Maya.
He wanted to marry the love of his life, and possibly have children.
But most of all, he wanted to grow up. He wanted to be able to do things he couldn't do before. He wanted to be a an outstanding roll model, and be inspiring to children all around the world.
But those things might not happen. They could all easily disappear.
This man could ruin Auggie's fate with a pull of a trigger. It would be all gone, and so would he.
"No!" Auggie yells. "I have a life to live. Please let me go!"
Farkle reaches his hand back and grabs the child by their neck.
"I told you to shut up. Now be quite or I swear next time I won't let go of your neck. You'll end up exactly like your little friend, Ava. Six feet under ground with people mourning over your death. Do you understand"
Auggie nods his head slowly while Farkle lets go of his neck.
Auggie sits in the back of the car embracing his injured arm.
"Someone help." he whispers.
