"You sure are stupid. Fearlessly coming here"
It is dark, the arena has been covered in a dimness like it was cloth, draped over everything. The Avenger shivers, not with the cold, she was used to it, but with dread. The Nasod before them had recovered most of her health, using her backup energy for her final attacks, her last resort. CODE_Maya is gliding towards the red knight fast, sending her weapon disks before her, they glow with deadly lasers. Right before they strike Esper is at her side, grabbing the knight by the waste, pulling them thru a space rif, elesis felt his hands shaking with fear, but he's grinning, they haven't faced a powerful enemy in a long time. The hard metal of the upper platform hits their knees hard, tho it takes them no time to return to their feet. The Crimson knight presses her rigid back against Adds, claymore raised and slightly shaking, ignoring the sting of pain in her legs.
"She's strong..." elesis spits blood from her mouth and wipes her lips with her free hand.
"She reminds me of Seraph, but of course even the little queen wasn't this formidable." Esper's voice is icy, he hates bleeding. Elesis feels the warmth of his blood on her back, she can see it in her head the black of it crawling down her spine. She grits her teeth praying his wounds aren't too bad. She knows Espers defence is weak, it keeps her up at night.
In a flash Maya is back, right in front of her, a black hole cracking out of existence behind the Nasod. She feels add shift behind her, ready for the attack. The Avenger grips her sword so tightly her hands go numb. She lunges at Maya gathering dark el as she throws blood cutter ahead. It skids past Maya, shattering some of her armor. But it doesn't fazed the Nasod commander. Elesis feels her ribs break when she's hit, full force by the CODEs disks, her eyes grow wide with shock, the white burning pain filling up her chest, leaving no room for thin air. The metal of the platform isn't nearly as painful when she's bleeding. Elesis can barely hear Espers voice yelling her name over the sound of her pounding heart loud in her ears. Elesis' eyes drip with pain as she jerks her head up, just in time to see Maya's iron foot rushing straight for her face.
Esper cringes at the sound of splintering bones tho he knows the sound all too well. The Crimson Avenger's body rolls past him, leaving bright red smeared across the floor. Add doesn't let himself look back, but can hear her breath and coughs, soaked in agony. Esper teleports behind Maya silently, eyes gleaming with hate. Maya spins around lightning fast, black and blue sight staying fixed on her new enemy, than in a flash she's gone to only reappear beside add weapon disks spinning, catching him in the side before he can even whisper an attack. Esper's hands grasp at the rips in his lower ribs, feeling the blood flowing freely, his heart rate increases. This wound isn't good. Code_Maya takes a few steps towards him, but stops intrigued by something.
"Black blood? With all that toxin you must be in a lot of pain" Maya is walking at him again, quickly, eyes flashing. Esper fails to hold back a cough. Blood runs down his chin joining the floor but he doesn't move. The navy commanders cold iron fingers trace the edge of his cheek, bringing his chin up.
"But don't worry, it'll be alright. I'll put you out of your misery soon enough" she coos, but Esper softly laughs, lowering his head out of her reach.
"The only one dying is you." the words are a whisper, quickly lost by the sound of space and time cracking.
PARANOIA

CODE_Maya falls to the ground, electric blue eyes sparkling as they lose their brightness. Add stands trying to catch his breath choking on his own blood. He stumbles over to the Avenger, crashing to his knees beside her, both covered in blood, black on red. Elesis face is covered in scarlet, her left temple still bleeding. Add weakly grabs a potion from the inside of his jacket, he swallows half of it with shaking lips and pours the rest into the Dark Knight's mouth, she coughs and splutters but gets it down. The magical liquids effects start working right away. Add breathes a deep sigh of relief with working lungs again. Elesis slowly sits up, holding her head.
"What a bitch" she spits the words out and leaves them ringing in the air.
"But it's over, finally" Add sighs as he lays on his back. Elesis softly smiles, the stars of the Elysion reflect in Esper's eyes. The Crimson Avenger joins her companion on the cool glass and metal floor, looking up at the strange constellations. The air was peaceful again. Elesis finds adds hand, she moves her fingers into his.
Living to fight another day wasn't so bad if you weren't alone.
