The house is cold.
The walls sticky with blood, crimson leaking down to the floor. Damp footsteps echo around the small lab, it's Esper. He's pacing back and forth muttering under his shallow breath. The red liquid is sticky, caked into his gloves, seeping into his clothes all the way to the cold skin beneath.
The sounds of despair have stopped now, only the horrible silence of shock, He glances over to the bed, a mess of white and deep red sheets. There lays the avenger, her hair falls over her face covering the bruises and cuts still fresh from battle.Add walks to the bedside, extending out a hand, brushing the rose red hair from Elesis' cheek and mouth, wiping away a bit of blood and mud while he's at it.
Her cold amber eyes slowly open at Esper's touch, sending a wave of shivers down his spine. He pulls his gloved hand back quickly. Elesis slowly reaches up lightly caressing his cheek, running her hand slowly down his neck, grabbing his collar. She pulls him close to her, feeling his sharp breath on her skin. The crimson avenger smirks, she loves Esper's warm breath like a ghost of his lust. But this time Adds air is chilly laced with dread. Avenger pulls him even closer down into her darkness, she whispers in his ear;
"What's wrong darling...?" The words are muffled by lips covered in dry blood. Esper tenses up at the question, Elesis pushes further
"you're not afraid are you, not like the others?" before Esper responds avenger lets him go, looking bored, as though she knows the answer.Add straightens up, glaring down at the dark knight, his purple eyes faded ice, lips thin.
"Don't be cocky little knight, I'm not scared of ...you"
Elesis giggles softly.
"But what about the other me, the other side?" the bloody avengers states with a sliver of a smile.
Esper does not answer this.
"You didn't have to kill them.." there it is, Elesis tries to hide it well, but Esper sees it, the regret. The self-hate. She turns her head away.
"You should have told her that"
"No," Esper's leaning down, "I don't think she has full control, but I have been wrong before"
"I was never very fond of them, they were so childish..." Add clutches his fist at this response.
"But your own brother?"
"You would have done the same to Eve...oh wait, you already did now, didn't you?" Elesis looks Add right in the eyes as she says this, making sure to savor his reaction, he bites his bottom lip. The Avenger slowly gets up from the bed, to dangle her legs over the side next to the tracer.
"You wanted her codes so badly, but you couldn't hold back when it finally came time to it...you made disfiguring and killing the little queen look easy."
He shuffles himself a little closer to the murderer.
"Likewise..."
Esper rests his head on her chilly cold shoulder, eyes glazed.
"We're worse than monsters..." the Diabolic Esper practically whispers.
Elesis only agrees with leaning against Add, reassuring him of what they both know is true.
