When I wake I’m in the medical room, laying on the bed in the back room. Edward is sitting in the chair next to me, asleep and Matt is lying next to me holding my hand, also asleep.

“Lucie!!! Oh thank god! I thought you weren’t gonna wake up!! You gave us such a fright, what happened?” Harry’s voice runs through the air with him as he hurry’s to my side, the one with Edward.

“I don’t know. After we had spoken I felt ill and...and...I don’t know!” I cry, waking all around, including Tim, who I hadn’t seen before as he was hiding in the darkened corner.  After a lot of I don’t knows and I feel fines they finally let me be and my brother is allowed to take me home.

-

I’m running, running as fast as I can from...from, I don’t know what I’m running away from! Finding my way along the well known paths that twist and twine through the unwelcome, dark forest. It’s like I’m trying to find a light in this impenetrable darkness. It is hopeless. A roar from behind, a scream and a high laugh on either side of me. Breathing fast now and running faster, my legs start aching. A building, right in front of me, a sense of hope. Running into the building, I’m not familiar with it, but hell, like it matters! I fling the doors shut behind me and pray that it keeps the evil out. Banging, banging on the door. Cracks appearing, wood splintering, windows smashing. Growling ad roars from outside. Tears fall down my face and I spin around and around and around-losing hope, losing life, giving up. Then eyes. Glowing eyes everywhere, all around. Then falling, spiralling downwards. To my doom, to my death. Then the evil creatures of the night and darkness are upon me, tearing me to pieces.

Then screams in the dark.

-

“NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! Please! Don’t, don’t! Please don’t! ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!”

Trying to lash out at my invisible opponents. But failing to contact except with my own body. Someone or something is holding my arms to my sides. Then something smashes and I feel groggy, I stop feeling, I stop seeing. Then darkness takes me once more.

-

My eyes slowly open, feeling heavy. I see nurses around me and paramedics pushing me in a bed shouting to doctors. Sarah and my brothers following close behind. The doctor by my head see’s my open eyes and starts talking to me, mouth moving but no sound. Panic in my families eyes. Then sound slowly comes, ambulance sirens and shouting voices, one says:

“She’s lost too much blood! We have to hurry, we’re losing her!!”

Then my eyes snap shut again, a pain in my head and wetness down my neck and back. Unconsciousness closes that devastating scene.
