That afternoon I decided to visit Ryan at the gym with my boyfriend's consent of course. I walked inside to the receptionist desk. "Excuse me sir is Ryan Dales here?" I asked.

"Sorry we don't have anyone under that name," he replied.

"Can I speak to your boss please," I asked.

"She's still on her lunch break but you can catch her at that small cafe, Blue Coffee."

"Thanks for the info," I smiled and walked to the cafe. I spotted Jewel just leaving.

"Jewel wait," I called.

"Hey little sis what you want," she asked.

"Does someone named Ryan Dales work at your gym or was fired recently."

"No I haven't employed or fired anyone with that name," she said looking down at her phone.

"Oh thanks well my lunch break is almost over I better get back to the business place," I smiled and ran back to work. I checked in at the receptionist desk and walked to my boyfriend's office.

"Hey Terrel," I said knocking on his door.

"Oh hey Diamond," he smiled.

"You have a meeting in a few minutes,"I told him.

"Thanks can I talk to you for a minute," he asked.

"Sure." I closed the door behind me and sat across from him.

"I just wanted to ask you think work is getting in the way of our relationship."

"If it was do you think I'd still be with you."

"I guess your right," he answered. I smiled and walked to my office. I sat in my office talking to people, getting to people to work overtime, answering the phone, and holding presentations. I just wanted to go home and lay in my bed. I walked home through the streets of New York. The bustling city noise and smell of gasoline filled my nostrils and ears. I arrived at my apartment on the door read a note saying-Call me at 734-193-1917 it's an emergency.

There was no closing to show me who sent it and the number didn't belong to anyone I knew. I walked inside and instead of calling the number I made dinner for Terrel. I put his dinner I'm the microwave and ate mine on my own.

I called the number right after a woman answered the phone.

"Why didn't you call when you got in."

"Huh..."

"Never mind that I have some news to tell you. Your life and other people's lives are in grave danger, if you don't want to die I suggest you find a way out of this," she said I think I heard a small eerie tone in her voice.

"Wait who are you," it was too late she had already hung up. That left an unsettling feeling in my stomach that night.
