I woke up next to Chris. He smiled at me. I smiled. Jewel walked in,"Ready to go home."

"Yeah," I nodded.

"Bye Diamond," Chris said.

"Bye Chris," I replied. I grabbed my purse and walked with Jewel to her car. I sat with her.

"Jewel I don't like the way you talk to Sonya," I said.

"Are you questioning my parenting skills," she asked.

"Yes I am she's older now."

"She's still my little girl and I don't want her ending up like me."

"But your a successful business woman!"

"I don't want her ending up like my past!"

"What are you trying to say walking out on your damn family and never looking back," I snapped.

"I don't like your attitude right now Diamond," she cleared her throat.

"Your not mom," I said.

"I don't care if I am or not I do not like your attitude," she repeated.

"Fine. I have one question did you sleep with my boyfriend?"

"No Diamond," she looked at me. I nodded. We pulled up to the house. Terrel hugged me and smiled. I giggled. We walked to our room downstairs. I laid in bed and smiled at him. He smiled back at me. We watched movies and ate popcorn the whole day. We ended up falling asleep watching an old 80's romance movie.

Terrel sat next to me putting his shoes on. I kissed his cheek and fell back to sleep. I woke up in the afternoon. Everyone was gone and I was at the house alone. I ate a couple donuts and watched tv. Shante and Danielle came home early. Trey Jewel's ex-husband had picked them up.

"How's everything Trey," I asked.

"Good," he smiled.

"That's good how's everything with you and Jewel," I asked.

"Complicated. Go do your homework," he told the girls. They hugged him and walked to their room.

"Why is it so complicated all you guys need to do is talk," I said.

"It's not that easy she cheated on me and that really hurt me," Trey said.

"I mean I guess that's true. What happened anyway," I asked.

"This is going to be a long conversation I see so let me get comfy," he chuckled sitting by me.

"Yes I need to know," I smiled.

"Jewel slept with her ex you know Sonya's father," he said.

"Yeah Mick," I said.

"Yeah him. They slept together then she got pregnant and when she told me I got really skeptical about it. Well I ended up finding out from his wife who actually set it all up but they just let it happen," Trey said.

"But if his wife set it up why would you get mad at Jewel," I asked.

"Cause Jewel is the mastermind of the plan she wanted to get pregnant by Mick and the other reason is cause we just were out of it."

"There's no reason to be ashamed cause you guys were out of it for a couple days," I said.

"Eh," he said.

"Weeks?"

"Mm."

"Months?"

"Hmmm?"

"Years!?"

"Yeah," he said.

"Wow so are the twins yours?"

"Nope Ty and Zach are Mick's."

"I'm so sorry," I said.

"It's fine I should leave before Jewel comes home," he smiled and hugged me. "Congrats."

"Thanks," I smiled. He left. I laid on the couch watching TV. Shante and Danielle sat on the floor and watched tv. Jewel and Terrel came in. Sonya walked in behind them. She stormed to her room. Terrel held Ty and Zach.

"Hey guys," I smiled.

"Hey Baby," Terrel smiled. I hugged him, he kissed my forehead. Jewel smiled and grabbed Ty and Zach from Terrel. Sonya walked downstairs.

"I hate your boyfriend," she said.

"Um... ok," I said. Terrel chuckled and shook his head.

"You need to break up with this man before he hurts you," Sonja scoffed. I nodded and cleared my throat.

"I'm going to go take a shower and then I'm going to bed," I smiled and kissed his cheek. He smiled and walked to the kitchen. I took my shower and went to bed. I woke up in the middle of the night. Terrel wasn't at my side. I sat up and walked upstairs. Terrel sat in the living room reading a book.

"Hey baby you coming to bed," I asked.

"Yeah I'll be there shortly," he said looking at me.

"Okay," I said walking back to the basement. I laid in bed and stared at the ceiling. Terrel came in and turned on the light. I shielded my eyes. He chuckled. I rolled my eyes and turned on my side. He turned out the light and laid next to me. He put his arm around me and fell asleep. I fell back to sleep.

When I woke up he was no longer by me. I sighed and walked upstairs. As always I had the house to myself. I decided to call Kim. She didn't answer. Niko called me.

"Hey Niko," I said.

"Hey Diamond," he replied.

"When's Chris supposed to come back," I asked.

"They don't know yet I'm talking to his doctor now," Niko replied.

"Is any of his actual family there," I asked.

"Nope his mother is in prison, his father is dead, and his brother is out of the country."

"Wow well could you pick me up," I asked.

"No problem Diamond," he said hanging up. I put on some of Jewel's old maternity clothing on.

I walked to Niko's car. He smiled at me as we drove off. "I feel fat," I said.

"You are," Niko laughed.

"Your supposed to be supportive," I stuck my tongue out.

"Stick that tongue back in I don't need to be supportive all the support is in my handsome face," he smiled.

"Shut up," I replied.

"Green light," he said.

"You had to point that out," I said as he drove across. All of a sudden a car slammed into the drivers side. I hit my head on the window. Niko passed out. I screamed and cried.
