Chapter 4: Really, really long legs

Luke's POV

I was walking on my way home from a friend's house when I saw a dog rushing its way to the other side of the street.

He was gonna bump a boy in a bike .

"Watch out!" I shouted to catch the attention of the boy, he was looking at a house nearby.

He swerved to dodge the dog but he ended up crashing on a row of flowers.

Damn. That's gotta be one hell of a cleaning.

I rushed to the boy

"You okay?" I asked

I reached out my hand to help him stand up.

" Thanks." He said brushing off the dirt from his shirt.

"That's a lot of dirt man." I said looking around where he fell off.

"Calum. The name's Calum." He introduced himself.

"Oh right, I'm Luke. Luke Hemmings." I said.

"I know." Calum chuckled.

"Wait, what?" Is he from my class?

"We go to the same school. You played at an event right?" He said.

Wow. That event where students can perform on stage. It was called "Live at Norwest", I was asked by a teacher to perform 'cause I was the new student at school. It was a horrible night actually, I had an injury and I can't back out right at the last moment.

"Woah. So you saw that, eh? That was not a great performance." I said trying to smile despite the embarrassment.

"Amazing actually. You were crazy. I saw your stuff on youtube as well." He said, dazed.

He was giving me the chills though. Seeing my performance, watching my videos.

"Ugh. But don't get me wrong. I just found it cool." He protested.

"Caluuuummm!" someone from the house said.

"Yep. Uhm I kind of really need to go right now. Kinda needed to invent some excuse too." He joked while running to go inside.

"See you around Calum." I chuckled.

I was whistling on my way home. Wondering how suddenly I was in a good mood.

Did I just make a friend back there?

Hiiii.

so I wanna share an unexpected happening today. I was out shopping with my mom and I was looking for black pants so tight that were just like the boys (*insert 5sos lads here*) are wearing everytime.

I found the perfect size for me and was just window shopping for some shirts when this red and black checkered long sleeves that looked exactly like the one the boys shared(lol.XD) caught my eye.

I wasn't really looking forward to buying it but then Voodoo doll started playing inside the store at the exact moment I touched it and I was like: Oh my God. This shirt and I are destined together!!!  

(I bought it. When I came home I was jumping around my room coz I'm so happy!)
