A bunch of different supernatural and mythical creatures that I find interesting and hope you do too!
*Partially inspired by Teen Wolf.

"Bearers of death & guardians of the supernatural"
A hellhound is a supernatural in folklore. Features that have been attributed to hellhounds include mangled black fur, glowing red eyes, super strength or speed, or phantom characteristics, and a foul odor.
The Hellhound is a powerful shapeshifter within the Teen Wolf universe that appears to protect the secrecy of the supernatural.
The only Hellhound seen so far is Jordan Parrish , however, he had no idea of his power. Whenever he would shift, Parrish would black out and remember little to no details.
Parrish attacks Deputy Haige after he tried to kill him by setting him on fire. Parrish began to cover up the supernatural by stealing the dead chimeras and placed them at the Nemeton.
In Season 5 , Beacon Hills is being terrorized by the para-scientists: The Dread Doctors. The doctors genetically convert teenagers into imitations of supernatural creatures, Chimeras. Parrish's hellhound side manifests out having a seemingly instinctive reaction to these creatures' existence. As the Chimeras are killed off, Parrish instinctively abducts and takes their paranormal corpses to the Nemeton.
His eyes glow orange/yellow and he is impervious to flames.
Thus far, a Hellhound has an ability to generate flames and extreme heat around his body. He seems to heal quickly with his wounds giving off heat and smoke during the process.
Like most shapeshifters, the Hellhound has fangs and long claws. It appears that its "internal fire" actually cracks Parrish's skin when activated.

Similar to a Banshee, the Hellhound senses death. When several of the chimeras died, he knew where to find and retrieve their bodies. He appears unaffected by kanima venom and electricity.
The flames generated around its body allow it to burn through Mountain Ash barriers.
It is incredibly strong as it was able to flip Stiles' Jeep and to bend the heated bars of a jail cell.
A Hellhound was able to block the Banshee's scream by wrapping itself around her (Lydia) to absorb a portion of the shock wave.

Also, the hellhound was the important factor in defeating The Beast. (above)
