Kathy's P.O.V

"I know it's way too soon to tell you this, But I really like you. I noticed I started developing feelings for you when we were at the hospital taking you home. Just know that I really care for you and I don't ever want to see you get hurt. I really like you Elizabeth and I'll do anything to make you happy." He said then he went silent. I got up and placed a soft gentle kiss on his lips. 

My heart beat picked up after that. I developed feelings for you too. "I really like you too" was the last thing I whispered then darkness consumed me whole.

1 Week later

Its been a week since we came back from Greece and a week of taking care of Brent and him moving in with us. After he told me his life story we got a whole lot closer. I was really close to telling him that I'm a princess in hiding but Landyn saved me from telling him. Multiple times.

My dad kept his promise of hiring more guards. Nate kept trying to sneak in but always got caught. Landyn even threatened to get a restraining order against him if he didn't stop. James and Daniel had me and Landyn make a list of names of people who are allowed to enter and who can't.

Right now we're all getting ready for school. Brent is sore but not as much and he's taking things slow if he wants to be properly healed for the game in 2 weeks. I still can't believe Brent likes likes me still. I think he heard me when I said I liked him too but I'm not quite sure.

"Landyn hurry up! I swear you take longer then me! Brent's already in the car waiting!" I yelled up the stairs.

"I'm coming lady!" He yells back as he puts his shoes on and throws me his jacket and backpack. "Loser" I mutter under my breath as I head outside where my car is already waiting with Brent in the back.

"Its about time. We have like 20 minutes before school starts and we need to get the new schedules for the games. And we also have to have a team meeting for you know what." Brent said out the window as I got in the drivers side and Landyn in the passenger side.

"Oh fuck. I totally forgot. Ellie drive, drive, drive!!" Landyn yells in my ear and makes a hand gesture to move it.

"DAMN IT LANDYN!" I yell back and drove off a little over the speed limit.

We get to the school in 5 minutes flat. Luis, Alex, Jess, and Manny were waiting by the front doors of the school. We got out and headed over to them.

"Mommy!!!" Manny yells I run up to him and jump in his arms. I laugh as he spins me.

"Hey sweetie. How was your last week of winter break?" I asked as he put me down. I said a quick hey to the guys and turned back to Manny.

"Awful cause Nate ruined it. But now that I get to hang out with you again its alright." He said I smiled at him.

"Well you guys go have your meeting I have to meet up with my team. I'll see most of you guys in 1st period." I said as I hugged them all and left. I made my was to the office and asked Miss Hansen to make an announcement for the cheerleaders to meet in the new gym right now. I thanked her and set off for the gym.

When I got in the gym almost everyone was there. I clapped my hands together to get their attention. "Alright some of you are wondering what's going on. Well to answer your questions I'm gonna tell you. There's gonna be rules from now on. Rule 1 keep your fucking grades up. I don't care if your only on probation, I want you to keep your grades up. If you can't stay off the list then your off the team. Rule 2 always show up to practice. If you skip the team has to do drills for an hour straight and trust me when I say there will be no breaks. Ask my old team how it went when some of them missed practice for no reason. Rule 3 fuck with me and your off the team. If you don't like it leave now. I don't need to deal with this shit now. I need to know you guys are committed to this as I am. Cause If I'm the only 1 giving it a 100% then there's no use of trying to make it to the championship." I said as I looked at them.
