Remember people keep secrets for a reason. Sometimes the truth can be worse than any lie to cover up.

When Brent brought up Mary saying Kathy's name I though he was gonna push or ask more questions. But I guess not thank the heavenly God! Right now I'm looking around the house for Mary. When I can't find her I just yell her name loudly.

A few moments later I hear footsteps coming my way. "Yes Sir?" She asks as she stands in front of me with her hands on her side fidgeting.

"Can I talk to you quickly?" I ask as I put my hand out to go into the garage. She nods and walks over. I follow behind her and close the door once I entered.

"Care to explain to me why you said Kathy's name in front of Brent?" I ask as I stood there with my arms crossed over my chest. Her face paled a lot when I brought it up and started to shake a little.

"I'm sorry sir. I just... I saw something on Kathy that I'm pretty sure I wasn't suppose to see." She said fidgeting with her hands.

"To you its Miss Elizabeth. You don't have the right to call her by her first name. And what was it that you saw that made you say her name in front of Brent and not using her middle name?" I asked kinda getting worried but remembered what she did and went back to not really caring.

"I'm sorry sir. But if I wasn't suppose to see it then I can't tell you. Why don't you go check up on her?" She said/asked.

"And why should I do that? She left Brent, Manny, Luis, Alex, Jess, and me for her ex or her now boyfriend again." I stated raising my voice a little.

"Don't you wanna know why she came home limping? Why she asked Jason to carry her to her room when she could have done it herself? Don't you wanna know why she had Jason go to the store and buy her a big bag of ice? Don't you wanna know what made her become so isolated where it got to the point that she cries herself to sleep every night and never leaves her room unless needed? Why should you have the privilege to call her by her first name when you have abandoned her? Only her friends have that privilege!" She said raising her voice every time she asked the question.

I just stood there looking at her in shock. Sure Mary is around our age and is online schooling but never has she ever raised her voice at anyone even her mom who was the head chef at the castle. But when she brought up things I didn't know I just looked at her dumbfounded.

"How do you know all of this? And how dare you raise your voice at me?!" I asked still trying to wrap this around my head and keep my cool.

"Every night I make sure everything is in order and put away and I always pass by her room. Sometimes I hear someone else voice in there maybe Sir Scott. But I've noticed she's never talking to anyone anymore unless its Anna. When she came home I saw her walking in limping badly and flinching as she walked up the steps, while you were playing games and not checking up on the scream you heard and the object that fell down the stairs. And I will raise my voice if I have to. Even if it's up against you! You're not my boss Miss Kathy is. So I suggest you stop with all the bullshit!" She said getting mad at me.

I never even notice that. She has a back bone. "What did you see Mary?" I asked again.

"Like I said before Landyn." She sneered "If I wasn't suppose to see it then I can't tell you. Maybe you should look into her relationship with Nate or ask one of the people that hasn't left her and see what's going on." She said and left the garage and back to what she was doing.

I walked back into the house and headed to the living room. Everyone was still there playing or texting on their phones. I walked over to my seat and took my phone out going straight to my contacts and looking for Scotts name. It was 9:17 pm and we had tomorrow off so the guys decided to spend the night. I pressed on Scotts name and typed a quick message.
