It had been three days since (Y/n) had talked to Jim. The crew was on shore leave and she had heard from Bones and Spock that Jim had been seeing a woman. (Y/n) heard her communicator ringing, she sighed and answered it.

"(L/n) here"

"(Y/n) it's me Jim. So you want to meet at the cafe we always go to?"

"Umm... Sure I guess"

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, what time do you want to meet?"

"Now?"
"Okay,umm let me change and I'll be there in like fifteen minutes"

"Okay. See you soon. I love you"

"Love you too... Bye"

(Y/n) changed into a white tank top with an army green jacket. She walked out of her house and down a few blocks to get to town. She crossed the street and walked into the cafe. She saw that Jim was already sitting at their usual table and stood to greet her. He pulled her into a hug and kissed her cheek. They sat down and Jim got their favorite drinks.

"(Y/n) we need to talk"

"O-okay?"

"It's nothing bad I promise"

"Okay. What is it?"

"Well-"

"James T. Kirk?!"

"(R/G/N)?"

"Yeah! It's good to see you. Excuse me honey, I'm gonna steal him away from you okay?"

(Y/n) looked at Jim, before rolling her eyes and standing.

"(Y/n) we'll talk later okay?"

She didn't answer, she just grabbed her stuff and walked out. Jim started to call out to her again but was stopped by the woman. She sat down where (Y/n) had previously sitting and began to flirt with Jim. He brushed her off, but was pushed into going to the mall with her to help her with something Jim had no idea about. All he really wanted to do was talk with (Y/n) about what he was planning with the travel agent. (Y/n) walked around the local mall waiting for Jim to call her. She sat down on a bench near the main store in the mall. She was surprised when she saw Jim walk in with (R/G/N). She pulled him into the store, curious, (Y/n) followed. She kept a reasonable distance between them, making sure that she wouldn't be seen. She was surprised when the woman pushed Jim into a chair and went to go try something on. (Y/n) watched as the woman walked out of the changing room in a tight red dress, that hung on her cures and showed too much skin for (Y/n)'s taste. Jim seemed to be looking the woman up and down, they started talking but (Y/n) couldn't make out what they were saying. Soon, Jim was standing and he was lip locked with the woman. (Y/n) walked toward them, Jim pushed away from the woman, and looked up to see (Y/n) standing there. He pushed the woman to the side and started toward (Y/n), but she shook her head and walked out of the store. Jim followed her until they got out of the mall.

"(Y/n) wait! I'm sorry she came onto me and-"

"And what Jim? You weren't strong enough to push her away? You didn't tell her that you had a girlfriend?"

"I did tell her but she wouldn't stop flirting with me. And for the record, I did push her away"

"Jim I think we need a break"

"No please no"

"I'm sorry Jim but I need to get my head on straight. I don't know where our relationship is going right now"

"Please stay"

"Jim-"

"I'll do whatever it takes"

"Jim... I-is she the w-woman that B-Bones and Spock was telling me about?"

"No no no. Baby, the woman I was talking to was a travel agent, I was asking her about places that I should take my beautiful girlfriend for our one year anniversary"

"Jim I'm so sorry I didn't mean to-"

"It's okay, I understand, with my record with other woman and all"

"No it's not that it's just that I accused you without asking you first"

"I love you (Y/n)"

"I love you too Jim"

~Time Skip 2 months later~

(Y/n) and Jim lay on a beach in Hawaii. (Y/n) was curled into Jim's side with her head on his chest. He had one arm wrapped around her and another one grabbing a fist full of sand. Moments later he flung the sand at (Y/n) and got up and ran toward the ocean. (Y/n) got up and followed, she grabbed a handful of wet sand and threw it at Jim, hitting his chest. She ran into Jim's open arms and the toppled over into the ocean. The stood, Jim leaned down to capture (Y/n)'s lips and the two shared one of the most passionate and love filled kisses they had ever shared.
