Castiel X Reader: Part 2 (Supernatural)

A.N.- There is a possibility of a part 3 for this coming in the future sometime...

(Y/n) sat in her bedroom, it's where she spent most of her time, even her brothers couldn't get her to come out. She wouldn't go on hunts anymore, she wouldn't even go out to bars with them anymore. She just holed up in her room, only coming out to eat or go to the bathroom. During the night, the boys could hear her crying. Sam and Dean knew that their sister was severely depressed but they didn't know how bad it really was. (Y/n) constantly thought about what Castiel had said that day,

"You are so small, and stupid to think that someone like me could stoop low enough to love someone as pathetic as you"

The more (Y/n) thought about those words, the more she began to believe that she really was pathetic, and that she wasn't worth anyone's love. The more she thought about it, the more depressed she became. The first time she had cut, it was an experiment for her, just to see if it would make her feel better, and surprisingly to her, it did. So she would do it again and again, littering her body with cuts and scars. Castiel watched this all from afar, after a while he couldn't stand to watch it anymore, and one night decided to pay (Y/n) a visit. He appeared in her room while she was mid-cut. (Y/n) gasped, and let the knife drop. Cas was by her side before the knife could hit the floor. He healed all her cuts. The knife make a loud clattering noise when it hit the ground, and seconds later, Sam and Dean burst into the room. When they saw Cas, the immediately became angry,

"Cas what the hell are you doing here? We told you to never come back!"

"I remember what you said-"

"So why are you here?"

"For (Y/n), she is sick. She needs help, and I couldn't just stay away while she is here hurting"

"It's all your fault she's hurting!"

"I know, but I've come to see my mistake. Living without her has not been easy, not a day has gone by that I haven't thought about her. I miss her smile, her laugh, her words of encouragement. I can't imagine the amount of patience that it must have taken to deal with me, and I threw it all away because I was "busy". I made the biggest mistake of my life by throwing this relationship away, and I hope that you can all forgive me, but if you can't I understand, and I'll never bother you again"

All eyes were on (Y/n) waiting for her to say something, anything. Cas took her silence as a rejection of his apology,

"I will leave you be and never show my face here ever again"

"Cas wait!"

Cas's breath hitched when he heard those words, was it possible that she had forgiven him?

"I can't promise you anything Cas, but life without you was unbearable, I mean you caught me, I was planning to kill myself tonight... But you came and saved me, and if I think about it, you were always there to save me, you are always there to save me. I'm not ready to forgive you yet, but maybe we can work to get there?"

"I would be happy to work for your forgiveness (Y/n), anything to keep you in my life"

And for the first time in months, (Y/n) smiled, a genuine smile. One that made everyone in the room smile, it seemed the worst was behind them.
